Lisa and Theresa very friendly and helpful. Food excellent. Accommodation outstanding. Gardens and surrounding area beautiful. Easy access to trains and buses.

No shaver point in the bedroom or en suite. Garden loungers were broken.

Very friendly, delicious full English breakfast, easy going, homelike atmosphere. Nice big room and nice bathroom. Had a wonderful time! Whitstable is a lovely seaside town and close to the Cherries is a wonderful pub where you can eat a ery delicious seafood starter. The moment the hostess found out that we were there to visit our daughter in Canterbury she invited her for breakfast at the Cherries. Very friendly. Canterbury is about 5 miles away and truly beautiful and of great historic interest. Btw at the Cherries goldfinches galore.

Somehow the changing of the towels occurred everyday while we stayed there for 6/7 nights. Plus the number of towels varied from day to day. A suggestion; ask the guests which towels they want to be washed and which can be used for more then once. One time upon returning we found the door unlocked while we were sure that we had locked it upon leaving. Another time we found the housekeepers key in our door. Nothing to worry; I took it as not very well organised. No check lists used. Oh and we missed some shelf space in the bathroom to store our toiletries. Minor stuff.

Lisa and the staff were so welcoming and friendly. We stayed in the beach room which was beautiful and very very clean. The blueberry pancakes at breakfast are to die for and my little boy loved playing outside on the trampoline. I cannot fault The Cherries, we had a wonderful stay.

A most relaxing environment with very friendly and attentive staff. They go the extra mile to ensure a pleasant stay.

A slight problem with parking facilities.

The room was clean and the staff friendly.

We had some "practical" issues with the room but these were quickly addressed to our satisfaction.
