Room was comfortable The food I ate was good 'pub' food Discount rate on room
The hotel had a Motel feel, it felt as though you weren't supposed to stay for very long. The 'Sunday to Thursday' bar closes at 10.30 and has one draught lager, the other drinks come out of bottles and cans. I didn't see the 'Friday and Saturday' bar, but that closes at 11.00. The 'restaurant' is brightly lit, no frills, with 'pub' food. Room TV only had three channels, but I think they were having this repaired during my visit. I saw the full price of the rooms and it wouldn't be worth that amount
Have stayed here before good room and lovely staff
Bed a little on the firm side for my liking . But still had a good night's sleep
Basic room - Bring your own water. Staff were particularly unhelpful to the point of being plain rude. Don't be two minutes late for breakfast, we couldn't even get a cup of tea. Or the bar closing, you get no warning for a last order.
Everything about the Chichester suited us .No complaints.
Location in countryside.plenty of free parking. Large rooms. Tea and coffee making facilities.
Bathroom mirror too far away to be useful for putting on makeup unless you very tall person!
We requested for late check out and they let us. My fiancé forgot to turn his headlights off our vehicle and your Saturday receptionist staff rang our room to let us know. Thank you. Very nice of her.x
Booked for our clubs xmas dinner & dance, the food disco, ambience was all first class thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. My sister in law and I stayed the night, in an extremely comfortable room. 5* all the way
Comfortable bed, good location.
Room had an unclean smell. Restaurant was ordinary. Over priced. Practically no phone reception. Wi-fi was charged, however when trying to pay website kept crashing.
The breakfasts were very good. The room was spacious.
The bed moved about a bit.
Had trouble with key in door
From the minute we arrived staff were friendly, helpful made us very welcome. Room was spacious, arm comfortable and put a smile on our faces. Worth every penny. Thankyou
Dinning Area Good Lots Of Parking Staff Friendly
Rooms Old Fashioned And dated Rooms Didn't Smell Great And Not As Clean As the Could Be But Acceptable Food Basic For What You Pay Basic Cheap Sausages With Large Yorkshire And Mash,Not What You Would Expect,(Large Portions Not Needed Better Quality I Would Have Preferred.
The place is near the room was fantastic, clean and tidy would go again.
It was generally 'ok' but nothing was great or stood out
You get 30mins free internet -fine, but then when you needed to buy more it was impossible to do so. The internet that was free was so slow I thought it was 1994 not 2014. Food wasn't great either and paying extra for a basic breakfast wasn't on.
The service the staff the venue - especially Sharon (Thank You)
Staff went out of their way to help us. From letting us book in a bit early to friendliness at breakfast. Breakfast was well cooked and good size portions.
Room was clean and tidy and had everything you need but a bit like a 1980's time warp with the decor. Very good bed though
Excellent & great valve..!
The place was very clean and comfortable. Right from the start the staff were more than helpfull. I would certainly stay there again.
The setting country setting where it was located.
The early finish for serving breakfast during the week.
Staff were brilliant...could not have been more helpful.....rooms were clean, beds very comfy, quiet.....
Check out too early. Most guests would be using this hotel as they are attending functions either at hotel or nearby..... would like to lay in after heavy night....check out midday please.... ps. bit stingy on the biscuits...
Location good liked that function room was away from room so had no problem with noise
Room dated dark and smelt musty
Beautiful venue Really good food at a reasonable price
Over priced room rates
Good hotel, spacious, well equipped rooms. Quiet and comfortable
I really didn't want to write this. The meal I had in the restaurant was possibly the worst meal I have ever had. The beef was tough and gristly, the boiled potatoes wer goos, the roast (I think) potatoes were so dry you could hear them sucking the moisture out of the atmosphere. The carrots were hard,
Personnel is helpful and rooms are high standard. Continental breakfast is very inviting.
Smoking is allowed inside the patio area. Often I am a customer of the hotel and the last time I stayed I found for the first time towels not very "fresh" with a general spread-out yellowish colour and a small dark brown stain in one of them.
The courtyard, room okay, seemed clean
No service on a Sunday, no bar no food, rubbish internet..hotel manual is like a cannot should not and must do.it all looked nice but as there was no drink or food there was no reason to sit there. Window did not open so it was hot.
