The furnishings were wonderful, everything you needed was there. Very homely. Very comfy bed and wonderfully spacious. Jug of milk in the fridge and tea, coffee and sugar, all lovely touches. Fantastic breakfast!!
Clean, warm, modern with everything you needed for a short break. Owners were very friendly and helpful.
Only 20 mins drive to tunnel Good size for a family
Lovely little one bed apartment. Very spacious and nice kitchenette for us to cook dinner. Bed very comfy and good how key can be left in a coded safe box. Would definitely stay again.
If being really picky when watching DVD the sound was very muffled. Think was DVD player as when watched normal TV was bit better.
Wonderful owners. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
Love this apartment. It's the second time we've stayed and will def stay again as location is brilliant just far enough from dover to have peace and quiet but close enough to catch the ferry. Love how they leave milk in the fridge so you can have brew no matter what time you get in.
From the moment we got there the place felt right. Helpful staff, nice apartment, it felt like a home away from home. We are booked in again for a stay in a week or so. Excellent.
Lovely spacious apartment with great facilities. We were looking for a last minute weekend break, Kent had the best weather forecast. This part of Kent should get a better press - we had a wonderful bracing walk along the white cliffs and enjoyed exploring Sandwich, St Margaret's and Deal. We will have to return as there's plenty we didn't get to see.
The nearest pub is not within walking distance :( however there's a great curry house nearby that delivers and the apartment has a well-stocked kitchen so a night in's a good option :)
Very comfortable. Amanda is so welcoming and tries to think of everything. The tea, coffe and fresh milk in the fridge are all very welcome after a long journey. The apartments are warm, comfortable, clean and the food in the restaurant is delicious.
The wi-fi could be faster ideally but at least it is there.
une bonne situation idéale pour rayonner (Canterbury, Dover, Hastings, Sandwich...). Un équipement complet et très bel appartement pour une famille. Ideally located to visit several towns around. Very well equiped flat, a good deal for a familly.
débit wifi un peu lent. la proximité avec la voie rapide, mais on ne l'entend pas le soir les chambres donnant sur l'autre côté. wifi signal a bit weak. next to a highway but fortunately you can't hear the trafic at night as the rooms are situated on the opposite side of the house.
Close by to main duel carriageway that quickly took you to numerous parts of Kent - excellent afternoon lunch on the day we arrived - apartment was then we'll equipped for everything we needed during our stay - would not hesitate to use again
Much larger rooms than expected, very well equipped, large bath, very easy to relax and unwind following a day out touring. Great parking facilities, breakfast and shop, easy driving to Dover, Deal, Broadstairs and Sandwich. Wish we had booked for a longer stay.
Television reception was patchy. Apart from this very difficult to find fault.
Ideally placed to discover Kent and attractions. Lovely apartments, very well provisioned and comfortable. Delicious food in the restaurant; homemade ciders and preserves. Really enjoyed our break.
The place was like new. We commented on how clean it was. Very spacious. Nice bathroom with toiletries. Nicely decorated. Very well thought out. Perfect for a stop over before heading to Calais. Good price considering what you are getting and comparing to other local hotels which are not as nice.
There was noise from the road mainly noticeable from the bedroom. I wonder if secondary glazing could help?
Location The cleanliness The layout The facilities The helpful staff
Spent one night here and it was absolutely fantastic. The two bedroom apartment was very roomy, the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare a meal (including milk for the tea and coffee that were also provided). The bedrooms felt like a home away from home, and the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay very much and would absolutely stay again if we return to the area. Would definitely suggest it to anyone looking for a place to stay around Dover. Thanks!
Spotlessly clean and perfectly located only ten minutes drive from Dover Dock. We stayed in the two bedroom apartment with our two young children and it was perfect. Lots of space for us all and brilliant facilities (washer/dryer, dishwasher etc). Communication from the owner was proactive and she really couldn't have been more accomodating. It really was all we could ask for and more for a nights stay and at the same cost of being crammed in a single hotel room.
Great value for money Very good sized room/s Good off road parking Easy access to Dover Coffee/tea provided
No breakfast available until 0900 WiFi signal weak and kept dropping out Had to buy in all food for overnight stay
Well equipped comfortable appartment, ideally situated to visit Dover Castle and Canterbury. Excellent breakfast and lunches in the cafe downstairs, the cider was good too! Staff very helpful and friendly , enjoyed our stay.
Expensive for the area, bad decor/cheap furniture, poor food, next to the motorway
An apartment, not just a room. Away from the busy city. Quiet.
No lift. Had to carry heavy bags up some steep stairs.
Highly recommend. We stayed for 1 night on our way back from France. Much, much better than the sterile, corporate hotel rooms that are in Dover. Great communication from the owners. Absolutely FIRST CLASS.
Spacious, extremely well equipped apartment. Children's play area. Lovely cafe/ shop below.
Not the most beautiful surroundings but very handy for Dover and the Kent sites.
The apartment was lovely and very well equipped. Very friendly and helpful owner.
We thought we would be able to have dinner here but the restaurant closes for lunch. Slow service at breakfast.
Lovely apartment, which was very comfortable and a good location for visiting Dover castle and surrounding area.
Distance form the nearest pub, needed to drive to get a meal in the evening.
