All was Good! Lovely Staff!
Like any Hotel in the centre of a Big Town or City....a lot of noisy over refreshed people at night and early morning.....it can't be avoided ...not their fault
restaurant and room
all the stairs
Breakfast was good, restaurant staff pleasant
Room was very hot, without radiator on. Also very noisy from generator ? outside windows.
staff very polite, helpful and attentive. food was excellent especially the breakfast.
Great breakfast Friendly staff
Wallpaper peeling off bedroom wall Wifi does not work on top floor
Good breakfast pleasant staff
kareoke, noise all night, noisy macerator toilet neighbours one disturbed us late in the night. we did request a quiet room!cobwebs on the light above the bed that had gathered dust and mould on bottom of the shower cubical that screamed at you when sat on the loo. large crack in floor tiles.
The staff were friendly and helpful
The room was the size of a broom cupboard
Location, friendliness of staff & room size.
In my opinion the double bed was not that comfortable, it was too hard
Room quite dated considering the price of the room for a nights stay
Friendly staff, nothing too much trouble. Brilliant location, modern, very clean room with everything you need. Excellent selection for breakfast & super speedy service with a smile
Clean and kind staff
Dunfermline town and hotel location in Town.
Basic amenities, far too noisy at night with bar verandah and disco immediately below room window. No room service and a ban on takeaway food in room, breakfast was limited and a very slow service with one young lady trying hard to deal with everyone.
location, location, location
The Friendly helpful Staff and the lovely food, the clean rooms and the free wifi! (a must when travelling with a teenager)
Noisy neighbours ( not the hotel's fault) and for me, the bed was a bit too soft
we stayed at the City hotel in the family room for the commonwealth games and although it was about an hour to Glasgow the hotel met our needs perfectly. It was clean, comfortable and served an excellent breakfast. The staff were very polite and helpful. The position in the town is great for shops and restaurants, you can also get the train to Edinburgh directly from the town and be there in 30 mins.
The beds were a bit firm.
Location,breakfast and staff.
The room was far too hot asked for a fan too keep me cool at night with no joy.Had to keep bedroom window to cool the room down a little, then to be woken by a extractor fan from the kitchen at 6am due to location of room :-(
It was quiet.
the staff were very helpful and friendly, breakfast was excellent
very noisy at the weekends, with a kareoke in the hotel sat &sun not finishing till midnight. other bars and clubs adjacent emptying at 2 am. seagulls making a hell of a racket early every morning. also the small details in our room e.g.two lights not working, a sewage like smell coming up through our washbasin and also on our second last day all our electrical sockets went dead for an hour. all these things were reported to reception and only the sockets were sorted. very diappointing as we paid £225 for theweekend and were offered no form of a discount for the inconvenience. very poor
Extremely good soundproofing--could not hear the karaoke downstairs, very clean, good water pressure, three beds as requested, great breakfast (included)
three flights of stairs from parking lot around back to your room, Wi-Fi stopped working after karaoke started, no desserts after 2100 =(
Nice Bar-Good Food
Single Bed Room was to small-The Bed itself was very old and has been used far to much-Horrible sleeping!
I didn't like the noise coming from the room next door as he must have fallen asleep with the TV on full. So I didn't get no sleep on the Sunday night and on the sat night there was a wedding so had little sleep then. The mattress in room 35 was sagging to 1 side so I had to hold myself in bed at night.
Nice hotel close to everything
Staff were very friendly, great hotel, lovely food. Would definitely stay again.
Staff are very helpful and the breakfast was lovely.
Noise from the seagulls ... But that's not the hotels fault!
