found all the staff very helpful and friendly at the hotel the location for what we needed it for was excelant for shopping and for the purpose of our trip being i had a family room as there were myself and 2 others we were all over 50 the only thing we found were the amount of stairs up to the room at the top of the building with carrying clothes and suitcases up them also although i was lucky getting parked the amount of spaces for the hotel were very limited

Good location easy to get to Edinburgh if you wanted. Various pubs and clubs around. Staff were lazy and very forgetful. I confirmed late check out twice and still at half 11 got a phone call going why haven't you checked out yet. We asked for a hair dryer and ironing board waited half an hour nothing then called again then 15 min nothing. It put extra pressure on getting ready as we had to be out the door at a family event for 6.

The location is perfect to explore Dunfermline. The hotel is also close to the bus station. It was easy two walk with to heavy suitcases to the bus station and get a connection to the airport in Edinburgh. Most of the staff is nice and I had a cute room with a coombed ceiling over the bed and a refurbished bathroom. The breakfast was very good too. Although the room was cute, it was a little small so that I didn't know where to put my suitcase. The washbasin was a little too small so that for washing your face you had to splash water all over the place. Sometimes it was to hot in the room.

Food was very good and staff very friendly. The hotel is close to town centre and local amenities. Well situated at the right end of the town. Noise from surrounding pubs clubs was not a problem, but our hotel room was directly above bar restaurant area and was extremely noisy up untill 0015am.

Staff were lovely and very helpful. Also had a good breakfast. The room wasn't up to much, damp on the walls. Pictures of single room on website show double bed but it is a single bed.

Lovely big room and comfortable bed. Not too noisy as the room looked onto the car park. Breakfast was lovely, well cooked and tasty. The bar downstairs shut promptly at 12 and there was no noise after that. The door to the corridor we were in banged when it shut. It needed a soft closer to stop it being loud.

The location suited our needs perfectly and the staff were friendly and very accomodating. I thought the value for money as we had booked an executive room that was tired and dated. The room was far too hot which made sleeping fitful hence we were very tired in the morning. We tried to open both windows to let some air in but it was impossible to do so as they were both jammed shut. No chance of getting out in the event of a fire! Overall, I was disappointed in the room.

The food was excellent and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The en-suite was excellent and fresh and clean.. My room was small but good value for £35 but badly needs revamped as the wallpaper was coming away from the wall, and was very badly stained above the tv. also had problems with tv even after a visit from 2 gentlemen, tv kept saying no input and losing picture for a few minutes....did not want to complain again..........also no subtitles as I am deaf..........pity. It was noisy but as Im deaf it did not harm my stay.........

I loved the location, price and ease of booking. The rooms were clean and had everything one might need for a stay over. I did not like the air freshener, it make me think it was there to mask some other smells rather than to make the place smell nice. The breakfast was fine but it was a shame that some of the items on the plate where obviously bargain basement, namely the bread and the sausage.
