The Clarendon Hotel  

I am a returning guest the hotel ticks the right boxes for me the staff are friendly enough, rooms are clean and not expensive. the location allows us to get to the places we frequent locally with ease.

the supply of tea bags, milk was in short supply.

Good clean generous room with excellent sea view.

Food was poor. Morecambe itself was very disappointing. We arrived about mid day and decided to go for a stroll along the promenade and maybe grab a light lunch - nothing was open!

It is a warm and friendly atmosphere and the staff are very welcoming.The rooms are comfortable and clean. I will certainly stay there again.

the character style of the hotel. The overall attitude of the staff was warm and friendly reflecting the values of a period hotel.

Misunderstanding on the Sunday Lunch Menu - said Pineapple platter but it should say Prawn and Pineapple Platter.

The staff were amazing, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. Food was lovely and they catered well for us when we increased our numbers 2 times !!

Would have liked a sea view

wonderful value for money better than some twice the price made to feel really welcome, nothing too much trouble for the staff and wow what a room. really cant wait to stay there again

still looking for anything we did not like but too chilled after break to bother.

We had room #2, the "Glessingham suite", just above reception. Solid old hotel and room was very large tho carpet was a bit stained. Really liked the large windows looking out on Morecambe Bay. In late April the hotel was quiet. Bag lunch was prepared for us as we left before 06:00.

Nice room good sea view

Wife not happy with her breakfast, given two hard poached eggs,etc. She left most of the meal. I ordered scrambled eggs, beans , toms, etc, given fried egg and no toms, sent it back, they returned it with the correct order, ate it all.

Excellent value for money. We were surprised by the quality of the food in the hotel which was excellent and you would pay much more for such good quality well cooked food in a restaurant. Staff were extremely helpful and couldn't do enough for you.

Very good hotel, excellent staff and delicious food. All dishes were very reasonably prices but the two fish mains for 10 puonds on tues, wed and thursday is exceptional value, and the fish was huge!! Free parking in the hotel car park a real advantage. We booked a double and were given a suite.

Position not marvellous but all else really good . A mature building ,well maintained and furnished. Clean, courteous comfortable AND very good value. Staff excellent

We liked the location with parking & the friendliness of the staff

The Bedroom was droughty as it wasn't double glazed. it needs updating no internet connection in the bedroom and only 5 standard channels on the tv

I like the tasteful decor and friendly staff. I stay at this hotel often, because it is convenient for visiting my Masonic Lodge. On this occassion a social function, festive board was also held at this hotel for my Chapter. Excellent food. Fantastic vegetarian option. The staff are hardworking and friendly. Impressed by the service at the social function. Lovely room. I will be back. Also think the single room rate is good value.

Friendless of all staff, menu choices, service in restaurant.

Reported broken bedside light, faulty switch, within one hour of arrival.Not attended to after three days or any feedback. Directions for bus to Lancaster completely wrong fro receptionished, doesn't take much to find out about your local area Hotel ok but town very drab and run down, prom fine and wide though
