Great location and very nice hotel. Food in the pub was excellent and good value.
The wifi had good speed but it kept dropping out so i had to keep reconnecting. As the whole barrow area has poor mobile coverage (3G and 4G) it meant I couldn't get online as much as i would have liked
Everything was just lovely. The staff attentive Food fantastic bed comfy Views fantastic Well worth the price paid
The food was very good and the staff were very friendly and helpful
View from the room and the peace and quiet (except for Sat night's coach party which made it hard to sleep!) Location Food (though only had breakfast) Room spacious, clean, comfy bed and nice bathroom.
Service was a bit indifferent. Though friendly there wasn't really an attitude of customer service - of anticipating our needs.
Helpful staff, good bar
Bathroom ttired with very sluggish cistern
The staff were friendly and helpful and nothing was to much trouble for them, the food, wine and beer was Excellent, the bed was comfy and the room was clean.
toilet seat would not stay up on its own, awkward when you are a man.
the superior room with seaview lived up to its name. We had a meal in the restaurant on our last evening which was excellent. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. We will definitely stay here again
Lovely big room with nice furnishings and fantastic view across Morecambe bay. Wonderful big fluffy towels - good to find a hotel that provides towels that are big enough.
Great room with sea view. We had a really enjoyable meal in the restaurant. A great place to stay.
Having to pay for breakfast as an extra not a lot of choice on menu and rather pricey
QUIET AND PEACEFULL LOCATION. BREAKFAST WAS VERY GOOD, STAFF HELPFULL. GOOD LOCATION BETWEEN BARROW AND ULVERSTON.
WEATHER HOT AND HUMID, ROOM COULD HAVE DONE WITH A FAN.
Nice quiet location with excellent food and comfortable rooms
Address on Booking.com totally incorrect - Main Street Barrow instead of Rampside - fortunately, as it happens, I did not need to be in Barrow, so being 15 minutes out of town was not a problem
Staff were pollute
Tables were sticky
Would definately come back, the true genuine friendlyness and not a matter of staff saying what is expected to say, these guys really do make you feel welcomed. Ryans work was very professional and offered a very good service. The chef cooked beautiful and plentiful food. Locals came in consistantly for a pint making the atmosphere very friendly and homely. Cleaness excellant.
Comfortable but small room, fine for one night. I was disappointed not to have sea view, which I understood I had booked. Nevertheless a good quiet night rest.
Breakfast staff efficient but not very sociable. Bathroom shower enclosure would benefit from use of mold and mildew remover application.
Nice location. Good size, comfortable and clean room. Good selection of nice food at a reasonable price. Friendly staff.
Very friendly Nicely decorated room nice atmosphere
Breakfast not included
clean and friendly.
WiFi could be better, no signal at all in room
all staff very friendly & helpful. Wonderful large room with view over sea. Dinner and Breakfast were delicious in a spacious area. Extra guests (including children) were treated kindly.
worst thing was being on the second floor though it did afford the wonderful view so it was probably worth the grunting up the stairs.
Quiet Location near the coast
friendly atmosphere and great food
Lovely room, great view, warm and good furnishing.
