In a quiet conservation area, the gold award-winning, 4-star Cleveland is an elegant Victorian villa with free Wi-Fi and free parking. Friendly and welcoming, there is a south-facing sun terrace and garden. The beach and town centre are nearby. The Riviera Centre is a short walk away. Winner of multiple gold awards, the Cleveland offers en suite rooms featuring a radio and flat-screen TV with Freeview channels. Other extras include hot drinks, luxury toiletries, shoe shine and clothes brushes. A superb full English or buffet breakfast is provided. Dietary needs can be catered for on prior request. My wife and I experienced a marvellous stay at this hotel. Room and breakfast was excellent and extremely good for value for money worth 5 stars not 4. Run by a most friendly and professional family. Highly recommend +++++ Leaving

excellent breakfast, warm and friendly owners, very helpful and informative. Parking a bit tricky. The shower was hard to regulate the temperature and flow.

The owners made us feel at home and were friendly but not over whelming.The hotel was beautiful,elegant very comfortable and gave a big range of bedroom size and facilities.The food was outstanding.I would recommend it to all my friends.Honeymooners and Business people and families were provided for.The rooms and facilities were designed with style and meticulous planning. There were clear instructions about facilities and there were many extas and one felt free to ask for help and advice about the area but lots of details were freely available. Nothing. ....Torquay could provide a better bus service but the taxi s were freely available and very inexpensive.

Inflexible with breakfast times. Did not cope with business users who could not wait until 08:30 for breakfast. No offer of alternative offerings such as cereals etc

It was a family run b b who made us very welcome this is the third time we have stayed there and would recommend it nothing was to much trouble for Wayne and jayne who owns it rooms were fab There was nothing we didn't like

Really good to see somewhere that lived up to it's website image, too often you look at a website and are disappointed when you arrive. Not here a friendly welcome, spotlessly clean, well appointed bedroom and an excellent breakfast. With a reasonably good Indian restaurant 2 minutes walk away, what more could you want. Nothing to report.

The owner was a friendly person, the breakfast was great and the Cleveland is well situated to walk to restaurants in the evening. Very good location. The room we were in was so small we couldn't get our luggage (2 big cases in),. but otherwise fine.
