Great breakfast, spotlessly clean room and friendly staff. A good value well managed hotel, Not the fault of the hotel but Llandudno on Saturday night outside this centrally located hotel was noisy.

A Victorian Guest House, run with careful thought to the comfort, safety and security of the guests. The breakfasts where very good and well presented and the owners helpful and friendly. It is a very comfortable and well managed guest house. Limited space in bedroom.

Clean and comfortable room with nice big bed (room8). Delicious breakfast served by pleasant staff. They have a bar and loaned us a corkscrew to open our wine. Hotel is close to seafront, shops and restaurants. It is an easy drive into the north Wales for mountain walking and places of interest. There was only roadside parking available which can mean a long walk at busy times but this affects all the sea front hotels.

Warm welcome, location, Bar facilities and tip top breakfast Top Floor = 4 flights of stairs was interesting; and view to rear not particularly appealing. Other rooms at hotel for same price likely to be much better value.

I liked it because it was cosy.. This is not a complaint so much, I just thought the Hotel catered more for older people. There was a couple of things now I come to think of it, firstly we had to be out of the room for 10:30 and breakfast was 09:30 at the lastest.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel but did not think it was 4 star accommodation. The hotel needs some updating. The breakfast staff were excellent and we enjoyed the breakfast. Parking took a while to find.

We were made very welcome, good friendly service without being over powering. Very clean hotel, very comfotable large bed which made the room appear small. Good breakfast, good value would recomend Car park a little tight but this was stated in advert, plenty of parking on the road parking but fees apply at certain times. I would not let this put you off.

The location. Nice breakfast After 2 nights in a twin-bedded room I was moved to another room.It was supposed to be a double room but was very cramped - the wardrobe was only 13 ins wide and the en-suite difficult to enter to get to the washbasin. I was told this was a double room for single occupancy. I had booked a double room for space. I am 92 years old and registered partially sighted. I was charged more for this room becauses it was a Friday. Also I was informed that 4 star guest houses don't need to have a lift. There was no lift. The person in charge was not very polite.

friendly, comfortable, fantastic breakfast, brilliant location would stay again Bedrooms a little dated new carpets would really improve the rooms, the shower in room 3 was fixed and could not be moved up and down this is ok for the men but not suitable for women, as we need to move the shower head up and down for the right position, as we may not want to wash our hair every morning

We liked the central position of The Clovelly. The breakfast was very good. The view from the bedroom was good. There was not much room to get around in the bedroom and the bathroom was very cramped, not enough room to dry yourself. The man who answered the door on arrival did'nt greet us, not sure who he was, and the couple at breakfast serving us, didn't introduce themselves either, all very impersonal and lacking friendliness.

This is not a hotel! At best it is a b & B. My wife is recovering from hip surgery and we were on second floor and no lift. It had no evening meal facilities. It had a bar but no draft beer. It had three very restricted parking places. Over all we were very disapointed.

Location was good. Rooms nice & clean, breakfast adequate. Shower was not easy to regulate hot or cold water, there was no electric shaver socket & my toilet seat was broken. I found some hairs in the toilet & shower tray before using them. Window did not close or lock properly so you could hear the constant noise made by the Seagulls outside. Room also smelt of paint & was not aired enough. Parking was difficult at the rear of the building.

The staff were attentive and friendly, easy to talk to, approachable, nice atmosphere in the hotel with the other guests I wanted to use the laptop which was said to be available in the lounge but was not, when I queried this the staff said only on request but in the hotel hand book it said available in the lounge, the staff member said he was using it and then later asked me if I still wanted it

From your website it indicated that this was on the front., which we were disappointed to be on the backside of this. Nonetheless we were happy with the room. Room was delightfull. Breakfast filled our needs. Staff was excellent. The only drawback was having to climb numerous stairs which was a problem for my husband. This should be indicated when we book, or requests should be made avaible.

“The locatiion of this hotel is superb as it is on the beach front with only a short walk around the corner to the towns high street. Decour and fittings are all in good modern taste with a friendly welcoming atmosphere. The staff are all polite, well presented and helpful. In particular, i found the young lady receptionist a credit to the establishment. My room was clean and very comfortable. The breakfast in the morning had the usual choice of full english, toast and cereals.” Richard, Biggleswade |
