Staff Room/decor Food
Bar was a bit adrift, favourite lager was off and the real ale was still 'settling' after 24 hours.
Comfortable bedding Good Location Good Food
Bathrooms in one of the ground floor rooms had a broken shower handle. We weren't made aware of this and had to discover it only in the morning. It was quite difficult to take a shower as a result of this, as there wasn't any other alternative.
comfy bed, clean room, good selection of refreshments and toiletries in the room, good location, good food
restaurant service very slow, lots of road noise, could do with double glazing, shower was difficult to use
Very clean and comfortable room, with excellent facilities. Lovely breakfast :)
No food available on the night we stayed, due to kitchen having a deep clean this was a shame as it meant we had to go out to eat after a day of travelling.
Recently refurbished, great food, very welcoming staff.
Female staff member was extremely helpful with local details etc.
Window leaked but this was only due to very heavy rain and a blocked gutter
Central location to all the places I wanted to visit
On the main road. Noise from traffic. Noisy from creaking floorboards above. No wifi signal in bedroom
Friendly staff, quirky must visit pub. Light airy room, lovely big bath.
No windows became hot and stuffy.
The breakfasts were great and the woman who served us was very nice and helpful.
The noise from traffic. A big gap in the door. Walls and doorframe had filler but not been painted over. Bathroom taps turned opposite way.
The room was modern and clean. Convenient location, nice walk into Bourton.
We had to wait 15 minutes for breakfast until someone arrived to open up.
Excellent food Clean comfortable room Very friendly staff
TV was not working properly would only pick up BBC 1 if you changed channels it lost the signal...was too tired to make an issue of it Shower control was very stiff and difficult to turn off, maybe I'm just weak !
Location, food and outside space
no windows to open -much to hot!
Evening staff were were friendly and superbly professional - as was the evening meal.
Breakfast staff were unfriendly and unprofessional - clearly stressed and appeared not to want to be there. there was a cold atmosphere and expletives were witnessed coming from behind the scenes - not good! An apology was offered but by that time breakfast has taken a whole hour!!
Friendliness of staff and great atmosphere. Rooms were large and very well equipped
The dinner was absolutely delicious -- superb cooking.
The road was very noisy. The shaver-socket was hidden out of sight, and was only reachable by clambering dangerously on a chair. The window-blind was necessary since people could see in -- but the string that controlled it was impossible to reach, because the bedside table got in the way. It needed to be on the near side of the blind, not the far side. The reading light was not bright enough to read by. The pillows were too thick -- one was not enough but two were too much, and gave me neck-ache. The Duvet was far too thick for use during the summer. The chambermaid did not seem to have been told the rules for when towels should be washed. I left mine hanging from the peg, not in the bath, yet it appeared to have been removed and been replaced by a fresh one. What a waste. The taps in the basin worked in opposite directions, which was very confusing.
The beautifully renovated and refurbished coach house accommodation. Very comfortable and attractive, with attention to detail in both bedroom and ensuite bathroom. Everything worked smoothly and well, and the breakfast and lunch were excellent - and very good value. Would certainly recommend and return.
Some noise from the nearby main road to Stow, as the windows face the car park and road. But not a big problem.
Clean, spacious rooms with a large bed and TV - recently renovated. Pub is very welcoming and the food (breakfast) was very good. Fast free internet connection available in the Pub.
No internet in rooms, TV signal was poor
The coach and horses, the staff couldn't do enough to help nothing was too much trouble the place was lovely and clean the food was lovely all in all a very enjoyable place to stay highly recommend
Good rooms, with everything we needed. Comfy bed. Excellent, powerful, shower. Attractive bar, nice dining room, plenty of enclosed outside space. Good, informal, welcome. Great centre for walking.
Over-powerful sink taps which tend to splash liberally, with hot tap which opens the 'wrong' way. Large window did not easily shut tightly - needed to shut out traffic noise. Big minus - Sunday evening menu (at 7pm) very, very restricted as most items sold out. Thankfully there is a large choice of good eating places in the village
Breakfast and staff are very nice.
No wifi in the room. Tap was too hard to turn on and off.
Clean modern room and good food.
Ceiling of our room creaked badly when occupants of room above moved. Breakfast tray did not arrive so we had to leave without breakfast.
the premises were under new management, Robyn made us very welcome and there was a warm welcome. The staff were excellent, nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation was situated in a converted barn and whilst clean and comfortable did lack a little character. Having said that I have recommended the Inn as a place to stay
Although you could sit out in the evening this was in front of the inn looking over the car park, maybe they could develop an area at the back of the premises, but as they have only been there for 5 weeks this maybe something to consider
The pub garden, the food, the staff, the kingsize bed, the power shower
Close proximity to the main road although we stopped noticing this over time.
