The Coach House is a lovely hotel nestled in the village of Killin the rooms and views are stunning, the staff friendly and its reasonably priced. We ate in the bar in the evening and the food was lovely.
Only complaint no mugs in the room :( only cups and saucers.
The room was big and comfortable and the four poster bed was great. Had a great dinner in the lounge and had a chance to chat with some of the locals.. Breakfast was terrific..
Had some issues getting a good Wifi signal in the room.

Perfect stay. Very very nice accomondation with family Flair :) thanks for the pleant stay
Nothing to be noted:)
Bar prices & live singer/guitarist.
Room 'Rannoch - double standard £65 one night' was a side view room with little view. No food available on arrival at 830pm and breakfast finished by 9am. Room was clean enough.
Breakfast was very good, clean and friendly.
Could have had more than 2 hangers in the cupboard and maybe shower gel instead of soap. Not much to complain about really!
the overall experience of staying at the Coach house was good
Evening meal in the bar I would have preferred to pay extra and had our meal in the breakfast room /restaurant
Well-turned out rooms Good breakfast Killin is a lovely little town
There's not much to dislike really It's not in the centre of Killin if that is what you are looking for
Good Food, Beer, Atmosphere, surroundings
Coffee could be better...
Good distance to travel around area . Lovely views frm breakfast room and nice walks .
Unfortunately kitchen in centre of hotel no fans so smell drifts upstairs .No we wouldn't stay again expensive and wouldn't class as hotel .
Overall the friendliness of the owners. The breakfast was excellent. Food was piping hot. The room was spacious and very well appointed
Staff were friendly and helpful. Location on edge of town. Comfortable bed. Attractive traditional building.
Room 2 was side facing with little view and a bit depressing. Ensuite bathroom was very dated. Steep stairs and no lift.
We had a great time and would highly recommend The Coach House Hotel. A short walk from the town centre, but if you wanted to stay for a meal or just relax it has all you need. Very friendly family run pub.
What's not to like.
Heating on in morning and at night. Room basic, but more importantly quiet with comfortable bed. Bathroom a bit dated but adequate and hot water always available. Power shower so vicious it'll knock yer wig off. Handy for all local amenities, especially Killin Golf Club course. Bar had good selection and welcoming.
Front door heavy and clashes noisily. Needs some dampening system. Main room lighting (energy saving bulb), could do with being a bit more powerful for the room size. (Lyon room). Told breakfast served 8am onward. I like to be up earlier and out on long day activities; so 7.30am or 7 am option would have been preferable.
Locstion, frienfly staff, great food and entertainment
Family run superbly
Very steep stairs to top floor
The facilities. The staff. The Land lord gave a us a small cute hand-drawn map for a good walk to see all the facets the landscape arround Killin has to offer. Excellent Bar with very good prices!
great views, nice walks to go on. you can also hire bikes and boats near by.
dogs in the bar
The hotel is in a beautiful and convenient location, within walking distance of Loch Tay, and the town of Killin. The river is in front of the hotel. The adjacent pub is a lively place on weekends and the food was good. Although we shared a bathroom, there was never any inconvenience and it was always clean. The room had a pleasant view and was attractive to stay in. The breakfast was good, and the breakfast room lovely.
Staff/owners were not always easy to find but this was not a big issue. They were very pleasant and helpful when questions arose.
The location and the nearby castle ruins
Staff were helpful and welcoming. Music from local band. Food was very good. Room was comfortable, clean, and very nice.
breakfast was poor; full Scottish breakfast it was not. Basic food menu and too expensive with no taste, although hot baguette lovely (chicken not fresh). Bottle of wine far too expensive for this place - it is low class with no personality. Will not be visiting this establishment again.
The rooms look nice and are clean. The shower is good and very clean
There are no en suite bathrooms. 6 rooms share one bathroom. We were alone on the floor so it didn't present a problem for us but could be too crowded 12 people sharing one bathroom
Lovely staff and lovely hotel
PART OF THE STAFF WAS UNFRIENDLY AND NOT HELPFUL, WE NEEDED A BLANKET FOR OUR 2 YEAR-OLD SON AND THEY DIDN´T HAVE ANY, INCREDIBLE! THE WORST THING WAS THAT THEY GAVE US A HIGH SEAT FOR OUR SON VERY VERY DIRTY
