The staff, the breakfast, the location.
good breakfast, helpful staff
Good food comfortable bed, clean large shower. Some of the staff friendly and welcoming.
Our room was in a new extension and poorly sound proofed, could hear the person in the next room snoring. Some waiting staff v poor only got the correct breakfast on the five day!
Breakfast was good, room clean, very nice staff!!!!
Room was a little small.
Staff were very friendly. Food was good and plentiful. Very good value overall. Room on ground floor with excellent walk in shower
We could hear people on either side of us.
Great cooked breakfast. Comfortable bed.
Room had been recently renovated and was very comfortable. Bathroom was great and had an amazing shower. Restaurant on site provided lovely breakfast each morning and dinner was lovely the one night we dined there.
The walls between opposing rooms and the hall way are very thin. You can hear people talk or cough in other rooms.
The room was adequate.
The staff were rude and unhelpful, the food was poor.
Plenty of parking. Walking distance to town centre and castle. Friendly and efficient check in. Recently refurbished room had a superb shower.
Ran out of coffee first morning at breakfast and didn't appear inclined to refill. Long wait at the bar for a drink but the staff were working hard so not complaining about them.
Good choice for Breakfast. Wifi Worked in Room Room and Bathroom were clean Free Car park
Light in Bedroom and Bathroom could have been brighter. If you needed to use the Telephone in the Room for Outgoing calls they charge 80p a minute - far toooooooo Expensive!
slow breakfast but busy morning, annexe room 22 noisy
the location was central, staff very friendly and helpful, breakfast was very good.
There was nothing to dislike really
I have stayed here before and know the area very well as I grew up here. I like everything about the hotel, it is ideally located for the town and the trains, and also has a good-sized car park. The staff cannot do enough for you, the complimentary items supplied verging on the excessive ! The rooms are clean, light and airy, the overall feel of the place is very chilled and relaxed. I have nothing but good to say about it.
Have been going to Pembroke for years and never noticed this Hotel. Staff were very good and took their time and cared about their work.
Service was slow but good when it came
Had a great stay the staff were exerlent
Very comfortable stay. A little bit of noise from outside but not too bad. Lovely suite. Really roomy and had everything needed for weekend stay. Generous servings at meal times.
Bar area too small. No where to relax afterwards.
Inviting building from the outside. Friendly helpful staff Good breakfast Clean Bottled water in rooms Coffee/tea/biscuits Huge bed (2 more pillows would be ideal!)
No mattress protector Broken cord on window blind Noise! We had a ground floor room and were kept awake most of the night by people shouting/arguing, walking about upstairs, creaking floorboards and the fire door constantly opening and closing in the corridor outside our room. We had driven for 6 hours to get there and were very tired. There is no sound proofing in the building at all and we could even hear the person in the next room snoring. We had checked in for two nights but checked out after one. The management staff handled our concern in a very professional manner, apologising profusely and doing everything possible to rectify the situation. They were excellent. The Coach House is a lovely place to stay but needs to address the noise issues, especially for people staying in ground floor rooms next to the patio area. Had to keep the bedroom window closed because of the noise outside. However, if we were in the area again, we would definitely stay there, providing we were guaranteed a room in the annex!
The quality of the food in the restaurant was good. The room was well presented and clean.
The service in the restaurant was slow. The noise from other rooms was loud as it appeared the walls were very thin. Too long to wait to check out perhaps the hotel needs to employ more staff to improve their service.
Good location, good facilities of wifi, laudry, restaurant and bar.
Staff in general could have been polite, they lacked the old "service with a smile" on more than one occasion. With some staff training in hospitality this could be a great hotel however I feel the price was too high considering the level of service we received.
Staff were fantastic made you feel very welcome. The manageress ran everything brilliantly. Food in restaurant was fabulous hubby had a huge burger with hand cut fries and I enjoyed the sweetpotato and mushroom hotpot. Hoping to come back one day.
Location (city center, less than 10 min walk to Pembroke Castle), Amenities (mini-fridge in room stocked daily with water and shortbread cookies, coffee maker, iron/ironing board, walk-in closet, safe) Comfort (large bedroom with 1 king bed and 1 twin, plus a large sitting room with 2 leather chairs and another TV, large bathroom), Cleanliness, Free on-site parking, breakfast, and WiFi. Also has an in-house laundry and for a very reasonable price did a huge bag of laundry for us.
Their restaurant is open for dinner but only from 7pm to 9pm.
the staff are excellent, from the cleaners to the management nothing is a problem, the food is also very good the full english breakfast is brilliant.the moment we checked in Katie made us feel at home will stay again.
the only thing the wi-fi kept dropping off thats the only thing.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, rooms comfortable. Food was excellent with a varied menu.
No comfortable lounge area downstairs, bathroom needed updating, black mould around the bath and shower door. Biggest risk to falls, which I did , so did my 90 year old mother , is the rise in the floor at the bottom of the stairs in reception, singage is poor.
The location was quiet with ample parking. The staff could not have been kinder and the restaurant provided very good food.
Lack of air conditioning.
