The facility and food were excellent and the staff very attentive which is always a big plus
Had we have known that there would be a band playing until almost one o'clock we would probably have stayed somewhere else and it was not helped by the fact that the folks who left then continued their conversations outside in the car park until almost two o'clock We had just driven up from North Wales and were having to drive back there the following day after having attended the funeral of a very dear friend so it would have been nice to have had an uninterrupted night's sleep.
Average size room, excellent food
Extremely loud music till approx 2pm
Food, rooms were clean and comfortable.
Room was right above disco which went on until 1am so was noisy. Didn't bother us as we were at a wedding in another part of the hotel.
When I arrived I discovered that the velux blind in the bathroom was covered in mould. I was given a different room but this was also dirty and with virtually no toilet roll. I had ordered a vegetarian breakfast but ended up with egg and beans because 'the kitchen is in chaos and I can't find the vegetarian food'. Other niggles to and overall a disapointing stay. Wouldn't visit again. Poorly managed and poor house keeping.
Room and shower were excellent
Drinks prices far too expensive
Staff were friendly and helpful.
The hotel was lovely, staff were very helpful and friendly. Food was excellent value for money. Would certainly recommend the hotel for an overnight stay or just somewhere to go for a meal.
There was nothing to dislike.
Location and style
The internet set up!!! attitude of some staff
Arrived late evening on a wet cold night to a room with no heating and brown bath water that took a long time to run hot.
Cosy room and lovely bar/ restaurant area.
booked table for dinner and after nearly a 60min wait, my one and only course of soup arrived. Breakfast was worse with only 4 tables taken when we arrived in the morning yet again it took over an hr to get 2 breakfast rolls. One waitress working and when she wasn't rushing about she was at reception talking to staff!
nice breakfast with large selection of cooked items, staff were happy to swap things. Bar staff very friendly and bar had a nice atmosphere
rooms dusty, toe nail clippings under the bed, very noisy, air conditioning units outside window, wooden floors so could hear the people in the next room walking about, door locks very noisy and doors slammed, heating came on with noisy pipes at 6am
Friendly helpful staff
As I come from the countryside found the traffic a bit noisy as my room was at the front of the hotel
The food was good
The double bedroom was very cramped for space if the wardrobe door was opened you could get past the bed. The bathroom had nowhere to put any toiletries and there were no towel rails. The noise and music from the nightclub went on till about 1.30 am making it impossible to sleep. I travelled with my daughter and grandchildren and their family room was even closer to the music etc. We had travelled for 8 hours to attend a family wedding so could have done with being able to sleep. Would not recommend it if you like sleeping and comfort in your room
Nice hotel if u don't want to sleep Nice food though
Travelled from England for wedding stayed in family room , which became apparent was over function room , both nights really loud music and jeering no sleep till it finished at 1am , beds weren't made for kids so had to fold down myself and cold water tap in bathroom didn't work had to ask for more towels and cups only two given yet three of us staying there was later told it's the place to go to party wish I had researched more and stayed elsewhere not worth the money
Staff and food brilliant
The noise Very small shower room!
Quiet room very comfortable bed
Maybe a little mor choice for breakfast
staff and food
The bed was great...the room was spacious...the staff are always great and the breakfast is always one of the best

The location, the food
The noise. we were told there was entertainment on which we didn't mind. But it was that loud we thought it was in the room next door ,when in fact it was on the otherside of the building .
The staff were friendly and welcoming and the room was clean and comfortable.
We were not prepared for the amount of noise from the club at night and although the club closed on time each night, the staff did nothing about the people who loitered outside, drunk and shouting after leaving the club. Big let down.
Location and facilities. Fresh/modern rooms. Good car parking - plenty of space.Breakfast included in price - good range and good quality food.
Popular for Weddings and birthday parties so expect a lot of noise on a Friday and Saturday night and no "quiet drink" in the bar! Smell of cigarette smoke wafts up through bedroom windows if you're in a room at the front of the hotel - keep the windows closed and you'll be fine!
Food was really great value, a big choice, may need to book
Air con on roof outside the window
