The Coast House  

the breakfast was good & you were made to feel welcome.

Very comfortable B & B with pleasant rooms with ensuite bathroom and sea view. (We initially only booked one seaview room, but were given two) Excellent breaksfast with choice of fresh fruit, juices, cereal and fully cooked English. Very pleasant and helpful owners.Thie Coast House would suit couples, families and businessmen as it is very close to the beach, but only ten minutes from the centre of Swansea. It is also only a short drive to the Gower Penninusla.

Nothing really except that you have to check-in by 6pm as owners do not live at the property. We telephoned ahead to say would be arriving around 6pm and there was no problem. Guests are given front door keys for access out of hours. I did have to pay extra for the seaview room I was given instead of the normal double room.

The location. At night when the harbour was all lit up it was absolutely stunning

Generally pretty good all round

Excellent value for money guest house in the heart of the Mumbles. Perfect base to use for the coastal walk or just eating out. Very friendly owners and well maintained, modern and comfortable rooms. We had one of the front facing rooms that had wide ranging views over Swansea Bay and beyond. Good quality, not greasy, English breakfast with plenty of choice. We would definitely use this as our base for the Mumbles again. Please note: keep your eye out for a parking space along the main road to save yourself the £4.50 daily charge in the Council run car parks.

The only criticism, if I have one, was the shower. A power shower it is not and it will take quite some time for you to get wet!!

It is situated on the sea front close to all ammenities Our room had an excellent sea view

The bathroom was very small but sufficient

We were there to extend a necessary one-day visit to Swansea, to see something of the Gower. On the only whole day we were there it rained heavily and was very windy. However it was good to come back to a warm and comfortable room before venturing out (into the gale) for our meal. I would suggest that the availability of a road map of the Gower would have been appreciated. In particular, I must say that the bed was very comfortable.

The shortage of space in the shower.

Plain but clean accommodation. A good base for touring the area. Hosts friendly and helpful.

A bit noisy at night from passing traffic. Stairs rather steep and narrow. Not very suitable for elderly clients.

Beautiful location, warm and friendly staff at the coast house, very enjoyable, very homely, excellent breakfast lots of choice.

The breakfasts were fantastic, and the view from my room at the front of the house was spectacular. Would recommend this b&b to everyone. It was a delight to stay there.
