Good size car park
Breakfast was not nice and beds were very old and uncomfortable
Lack of real butter at breakfast.
Good space for a single room. Clean and well serviced each day Excellent breakfast - good quality, and plentiful Comfy bed Very good value Friendly staff
Rather noisy - ground floor at the front.with obtrusive traffic noise Small TV which was set high up - not comfortable to watch
Location was good in relation to the town centre
It was dirty! 1 drawer had Remains of drug use left in it, it was so dusty that I could write my name in it, bottle tops were left IN the bed. My daughter (4years old) picked up used chewing gum off the window sill and then again off the side of the bath! All of the furniture was mis matched and for a family room we got 3 single beds instead of a double and a single as requested. No hangers in the wardrobe, carpets stained wallpaper peeling off- would never stay here again even if it was free
Wall paper hanging off walls, dirty tissues all over the floors cupboards missing door handles draws brown with sharp edges. Bathroom door didnt open or close shower door was stuck and fell off when opened. Shower didnt work covered in black ??? Black mould all over shower and walls. Estate out back of hotel with cars and people seem to hang out till 3 am on Sunday mornings. This room was £95 for a tripple 2 adults and one 6 year old it was not worth £10 a night the ibbis hotel is 10 minutes away and same price this hotel should not be on bookings.com the hotel was the worse I have ever been in and children should not ever stay at this hotel.
Poor cleanliness and grubby decor.?
Provision of a free travel cot. Free car parking.
Standard of cleanliness was poor. Corridors to bedroom smelly. Double bed in room was broken. Breakfast only served to 9.30 at weekend. Reception not 24hrs. We would not return.
breakfast and service v good
very bad wifi connection
The breakfast was great. Gayle couldn't do enough to make sure you were happy
Very noisy from traffic with windows open
Breakfast was good when it appeared.
Slow on filling up breakfast waited 15 mins for bacon and then eggs. No milk on table for tea had to keep going to the jug that was being used for cereals.
Extremely poor water pressure for the shower, it took an age to get the soap off. Every room we have stayed in at the Columbia has the same problem.
Great breakfast, evening meals very good, rooms spacious, staff excellent.
Good location & close to the centre of wellingborough.
No underground parking as stated on the website. Small Parking area & we were lucky to squeeze into a space. The room was very dated & basic. We found a half eaten biscuit in the drawer of the dressing table. The room was very warm - no air con just a small window to open. The receptionist was unproffesional & stated she didn't like to check people in.. (isn't that her job?)
Friendly welcoming helpful
The barmaid serina was lovely she also worked the small reception aswell as few other jobs, it's a shame the owner kept slaging her to the customers.
The owner Pauline slagging her staff off. It was like faulty towers. We stayed two nights never had room cleaned or clean towels
Noisy, no internet in room, walls are paper thin....!
I booked a double room and was given only a single room - not impressed with that
No night porter Reception closed at midnight or before Incompetent staff Couldn't cope with being busy for breakfast, kept running out of food bacon etc..
Service and food at breakfast very good
Dirty shower. Very uncomfortable bed and pillows. Cramped family room. Dated and shabby decor. Noisy floorboards on all floors - could hear the room above at 4am! Beds not made up daily.
Staff were helpful, breakfast choices are good, close to Santa pod
Beds uncomfortable, pillows like bricks, wouldn't hurt to have a lick of paint, desperately needs updating, Very limited parking
Staff very friendly Breakfast good
Needs a spot of decorating, could do to be a little cleaner in the room. My colleagues in their room the litter basket contained an old sardine tin, clearly lack of attention. the same went for my room could have been paid more attention may be a vac over could of helped and the windows cleaned.
