Excellent Breakfast. Pauline is a star!

car park was full,ended up with a twin room, very little outside usable space

I had to find the receptionist in the kitchen in order to check in. Once in our room we found the bed had been very poorly made with the previous guests linen still on the bed. The bed was made with clean linen when we left the hotel for the afternoon. There was no toilet roll in the bathroom and the toilet had not been cleaned from the previous guest. Breakfast was no more than a bun fight with a buffet style breakfast served on a first come first served basis. At the time of our arriving in the dining room we sat at an uncleared table for 10 mins and I then had my full english in three stages as the eggs, bacon and sausages all ran out and were replenished at different times. The staff were totally unable to cope with a full dining room.

The breakfast was excelent and the hotel was close to the town. All the staff were very polite and very helpful.

It did not have a lift and there was no phones in the rooms

Cleanliness of room. Tired decor. Thin walls and creaky floors. We had booked a double room, but got a twin instead.

The hotel is very comfortable and the breakfast was very nice.The staff made you feel welcome and they are most helpful.

It is a very nice, clean hotel close to the centre of Wellingborough. It is close enough to the town centre without any town noise. It is very good value for money and I would thoroughly recommend it.

The only glitsch was the credit card on reception did not work for either of my (very normal) credit cards.

The room was clean although, but is well in need of an update & decorating. The bathroom floor tiles are lifting, the shower did not work, when a member of staff was notified, the attitude seemed to be that they did not care. Also the walls in the room seem paper thin, we heard every conversation from next door and when someone was on the stairs, plus the hotel is right beside the road and you hear all the traffic. For what you pay it was ok, but could have been better. Breakfast was good, but thought it strange that no dinner is served on the weekends.

The breakfast was excellent. Staff vey friendly.
