Lovely sea view, ideal location, breakfast great
Great home from home atmosphere staff could not do enough to ensure our stay was pleasant will defiantly go again and will recommend to friends and family thank you
That I had to come back home
EVERYTHING ! Bedrooms were comfy, warm, great view of the prom, illuminations, big one etc. Breakfast was superb, cereal, yoghurt, fruit, fruit juice. tea/coffee followed by full English - eggs, bacon, sausage, mushrooms, has browns, tomato's & baked beans. Parking included - just perfect. All the people are lovely and could not do enough for us.
The staff were very welcoming and couldn't do enough for you, had a fantastic break with my Grandsons. Will definitely return
went to blackpool to see the lights the hotel is on the beach front right next to the pleasure beach we were made very welcome and enjoyed our stay x breakfast was lovely
there was no food being cooked in the evenings x
Friendliness of the breakfast staff.
Finding left over dirty socks from previous guests, room being so small as soon as you opened the door it hit the bed, smell of stale smoke.
good location tram stop straight opposite . Great views , hotel lovely breakfast perfect x great stay
The staff were absolutely wonderful. Food was excellent. Room was warm and comfortable and shower/wc was clean and luxurious. Situated near the train station and south pier attractions. The children asked to return to The Colwyn next year so going to book for the summer 2015. The central pier and tower attractions were all very good and saved much money buying the big ticket online.
What a lovely hotel, the staff were so friendly and very helpful. Our room was very comfortable and clean. It was warm and cosy. Breakfast was delightful and the service was excellent I would definitely go back there again
Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, breakfast was extremely good and there was a good selection for all tastes. Although the room was dated and tight for space and not best of beds it was probably the best two nights sleep I've had in ages, probably due to the fresh air and walking we done during the day. Overall a satisfactory stay and would think about staying again in the future.
Small room and en suite..
Location was excellent, near pleasure beach. Breakfast was very good. Very clean hotel. The rooms were comfortable and warm. Staff friendly. We would stay there again.
friendly staff cleanliness
Clean rooms. Pleasant staff. Quiet location but 5 minutes from the Pleasure Beach, south pier, sandcastle etc. Free wifi. tv with freeview channels in rooms. Free parking.
The ensuite toilets/ shower rooms are very small.
Quiet. No sign of hen/stags which is great when with the kids. Clean and spacious family room. Staff were friendly and helpful. We broke a shelf but it was no issue and had been fixed by a joiner by the time we returned from our day out. Given it was a Saturday I was impressed. WiFi throughout. The bar is quiet but good value and child friendly so you can relax in the evening. Good location.
size and quality of rooms. Banging doors most of the night.
The tram stop is across the rd, the breakfast was great so were the staff.
The rooms were quite dated
Great staff and a brilliant breakfast. Will definitely stay here again if I am in the area
The bed was the biggest bed I have ever seen and very comfortable. Sea View Staff were very friendly Room was large and airy too Spotlessly clean
Nothing at all
the Breakfasts, the Staff, very helpful and friendly, the view from our room over the sea, very impressed with the T.V.too freeview and good quality sets that worked!!!not like other hotel t.vs ,very impressed, and will definitely be back, went with my family and my 2 year old Grandaughter, nothing was too much trouble for the Staff, even had a laugh when we lost our room key.cant say enough good about them.
not really wheelchair friendly,as my wife is disabled, but, got around it easily enough, the Good points massively outweighed the bad, will definitely return.
From the moment we arrived, staff and owner alike made us feel welcome, offered refreshments immediately, helped us relax after our long drive, offered a change of room for our second night, comfortable and clean accommodation, we are planning a stay there for early next year for a little longer, staff are friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble, other guests we spoke to made faultless and positive statements and we cant wait to stay there again!
good breakfast & good location
could do with a lick of paint
