The Colwyn Hotel (nr Pleasure Beach)  

The staff were very helpful and accommodating. They were especially good with my little boy, giving him a bucket for the beach and tailor making his breakfast. The rooms were also a generous size and the bar staff in the evening were friendly and extremely helpful, as were the restaurant staff and the receptionist.

Amazing staff. Charles the owner goes that extra mile. i emailed telling him it was my girlfriends birthday so please could we have a sea view. he not only got us a sea view but also had got my girlfriend a cake and wrote a note saying happy birthday upon arrival. absolutely brilliant

The location was a little bit far.. However the tram is only 2 pound to get right into the heart of blackpool

Nothing everything was wonderful. Our 10 year old daughter said that it was the best hotel that she had ever stayed in.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Rooms were perfect for what we needed and hotel was only a short walk from Pleasure Island which was the focus of our trip. Breakfast was cooked to order and very hearty. We closed down the bar both nights. Brendan was a great bartender!

If traveling with kids make sure they use the toilet paper VERY sparingly as the toilet didn't flush very well due to the old plumbing. Our friends staying in the second room had no water pressure. The staff did apologize and take a note to see about repairs for the shower.

Everything food and service second to none would definitely stay here again.

It was in a nice quiet area but near tram/bus stops. Good sea view and lovely staff. Breakfast was excellent. Superb location for pleasure beach/sandcastle.
