Great location in the heart of Chester, made to feel very welcome by all staff.

Great Location in the city centre. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We had a fantastic suite which was well appointed, spacious and comfortable.

friendly and helpful family inn right in center of city. you can find it through alleyways from the main shopping area in A hidden sq. but this adds to the appeal of it!

The very central location and individuality of the rooms. The staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble for them

Although we was advised on several occasions prior to our stay of the resident DJ on Fridy & Saturday we was not quite prepared and you need to remember your ear plugs didn't put us off and we will be staying again

Ensuite had double sinks bath and shower. Room with a view of the courtyard.

Lovely room, superb bathroom, location can't be better. Friendly staff, and dogs are allowed!

Staff were very friendly. Easy to talk to and offered great recommendations on where to eat which did not disappoint. Location was ideal for a city break. Would highly recommend as a great place to stay for any couple! We stayed in the Byron suite which was beautiful, quiet and relaxing.

Only one tiny thing, when trying to get ready in the evening, I noticed there was no full length mirror in the suite. Doesn't even qualify as a problem, but might be worth investing.

The hotel was in the centre of Chester. The room looked superb & it was really cosy to. The staff were very friendly & helpful. The bathroom was great to, with a top of the range power shower.

That we only booked 1 night instead of 2!!!

The room was very clean and comforting. The bathroom was fantastic, a great lay out and tons of room. My wife particularly liked the jets in the shower... We would definately stay there again. Value for money written all over it. You can read the negative comments and make up your own mind as we did. Yes the beers a little pricey but you don't have to buy it. Yes there is a cathedral opposite that has a ringing bell every hour, and its very subtle. Where ever you stay you will find fault, enjoy the moment it is worth every penny.

Being in the middle of the city centre was a massive advantage but parking is limited, not a massive issue but one all the same.

Good accommodation - having both a shower & bath is always a bonus to the busy traveler! Friendly & helpful staff. Fine breakfast.

WiFi wasn't working during my visit but is apparently just having an upgrade (before end Jan 2013). Street outside & below room is a place where pub/club-goers have a smoke and a chat, so some noise late evening.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was marvellous and just as described on the web site. The late night DJ was excellent to and all in all, it was everything I could have hoped for. The hotel is wonderfully quirky and the management team have created an excellent club vibe for people who want something a cut above the normal kind of city centre club. The management should be congratulated on creating a club vibe with a very happy atmosphere.

Very friendly helpful staff. Quirky design, real fires, poetry book in room, grand night at the open mic night, fantastic location.

The bathroom was lovely and big with a fantastic shower n the room was lovely decorated

We were told about the music. On the phone it was 12 but when we arrived it then changed to 2. This didn't bother us to much and wouldn't have if next doors pub the Victorian didn't change there barrels at 7am which was so loud.

Friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. Centrally placed hotel which enables easy access to the City of Chester.

about 30 ft away from a church bell tower. chiming 24 hours a day. no food/resturant facilities. they ask you not to go downstairs to go outside from 12-8am because there's no night staff and the alarms will go off.
