A former coaching inn run by the Woolcock family for over 100 years, the Commercial Hotel is well known locally for its great food and warm Cornish welcome.

Situated in the centre of St Just, the hotel makes an ideal base for people wishing to explore the coastal paths and beaches of the Land's End area. The well-equipped en suite guest accommodation has a 4-star rating and free Wi-Fi broadband wireless internet access is available throughout. Every room is spacious and tastefully decorated, ensuring a comfortable stay in pleasant surroundings.

The inn offers an extensive menu, with weekly specials that take advantage of the great produce available locally. Our Sunday roasts are famous and we also specialise in simple fresh local fish and shellfish dishes. Our conservatory dining room leads out onto our beautifully planted patio and garden where parents can enjoy a drink while the children let off steam.

Hotelinformation

The Commercial has 2 bars, a public one (the bottom bar) where you are more than likely to meet one or 2 of the local characters and enjoy a game of pool, and a lounge bar which has a more cosy feel.

We offer accredited facilities to both walkers and cyclists and are a popular stopping off point for birdwatchers as well. We are only a few minutes drive from the famous Minack Theatre and close to Land's End Airport if you fancy a trip to the Isles of Scilly.

Breakfast is served between 08:00-09:00, although early breakfast is available upon request.

In addition to breakfast the hotel offers a full bar menu with weekly specials served from 12:00-14:00 and from 18:00-20:00 (October-May, until 21:00 from June-September).

Occasionally these times may vary according to unforeseen circumstances and guests are asked to check meal times upon arrival.

All of our rooms are decorated and furnished to a high standard. Some rooms have DVD players. Drying and ironing facilities are available upon request.

The hotel is a few minutes' walk from ancient tin-mining sites (that have World Heritage status).

Cape Cornwall, the only Cape in England, is half a mile (800 metres) away.

The Commerical Hotel is also just a few minutes' drive from the Minack open-air theatre, which has been carved out of the cliffside.

Land's End Airport (for the Scilly Isles) is only a couple of miles away.

Free parking is available throughout the town of St. Just, with the main car park (100 metres from the hotel) and Market Square covered by CCTV.
