Gezellig en huiselijk omdat het tevens een Pub/Inn is. Kamers zeer netjes en nieuw. Helaas had onze kamer een geblindeerd raam en dus geen uitzicht. |

Food was excellent and reasonably priced. All staff were very pleasant and eager to help. The room was up some fairly steep stairs but the room was very comfortable. Nice touch with complimentary glass of wine. Overall, an exceptionally pleasurable vacation. A bit of noise from the town square fairly late into the night. |

Very good breakfast and pleasantly served Lack of good parking for car. I had to use the public car park which is always a risk. en suite facilities too cramped. |

The Commercial Hotel is clean and comfortable and was a great base for exploring the Cornish coast. Food from the restaurant was also very good with local fish dishes on offer. |

The room was comfortable and tidy, the bathroom was newly fitted out so was modern, everything was very clean. There was a nice welcome including a bottle of wine in the room. Breakfast was very good with a decent choice of food all served quickly. All in all excellent value for money. I would certainly stay here again. |

Lovely hotel staff who were friendly, thoughtful and helped us with all sorts of queries. The owner is proud of Cornwall and made us enthousiastic about sightseeing several Cornish places. Certainly a recommendation if you want to experience Cornish hospitality |

A quiet and family hotel with very friendly staff. Large bedroom and excellent cleaning of room. Waitresses worked hard and management helpful. The hotel needs refurbishment. The bathroom facilities are old and we did not use the shower because it went hot and cold. |

A great atmosphere in the pub downstairs, it was nice hanging out, playing pool, drinking some beer and then going straight upstairs. Helpful advice when looking for a spot to watch the Atlantic sunset. Very uncomfortable bed, soft and small. Of eight double rooms we stayed in on our trip, this bed was by far the smallest and least comfortable. |

The room is very clean. The complimentary items (e.g. drinks, biscuits) in the room are very thoughtful. The staff was quick to replace and missing complimentary items in the room even at the point of checkout.The staff were very helpful in getting us to our rooms and guiding us to the restaurant where breakfast is served. The fried toast served in the breakfast menu was too oily. Probably would be better replaced with an additional egg. The toast was also slightly burnt. |
