the owner Charlotte was very friendly and helpful also knowledgeable about local restaurants. Other staff were equally accommodating. Parking permits were arranged immediately

On arrival we received a friendly welcome from the proprietor. We were given an option to upgrade to a nicer room, which we took. Room clean and comfortable. A nice friendly atmosphere. We enjoyed our stay.

Room was on the side of the hotel . With the window open at night (it was very hot weather) there was a lot of noise from the street. Also hotel not really suitable for people who have difficulty with stairs.

BEDROOM: Top floor double sea view Double room 7ft 4 inches wide. DIRTY walls ceiling and carpet VERY SMALL shower room Bedroom tatty/dirty and old however the bed linen was clean Would not recommend this hotel because bad value and dirty/tatty rooms.

Very welcoming. Lovely bedroom with excellent views. Bar was brilliant and fun. :) Will definitely be coming back again. Good value for money.

The B&B'S owner and staff were fantastic, such lovely people, and helped out very much. The room was great, with an awesome view... And a very funky shower! Parked our car with no problems whatsoever. Quite a few things to do in the evening, and also have happy hour on cocktails! Not too far from Lulworth Cove, which was beautifully amazing! The room was clean and comfortable, and would definitely stay there again.

I can honestly say, there were no problems or faults whatsoever. Not quite sure why the B&B may have had any previous bad reviews, there's nothing Charlotte (I believe the B&B owner) would not have done to rectify any thing that is in her control, she was such a polite and helpful woman.

Cocktail bar - they have started refurbishment with this room - still lot to do upstairs. Power shower Sea view from side of the room tv Was allowed to keep keys of my room and leave my bag three hours after check out time.

No table cloths in dining room No menu for breakfast so not sure what else might have been available E.G. yogurts. One dangerous thing was that the plug for the kettle in my room barely reached the socket, so it was stretched across and could easily have fallen off the side board whilst switched on. They use cocktail bar picture for marketing but rest of hotel in need of upgrading.

The staff are fabulous - really friendly and helpful. Bar area and dining room are beautifully decorated.

Bedroom could do with updating to bring in line with the communal areas downstairs, however it was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Breakfast and the location

Room 11 .. Supposed to be a sea view room, but a double bed was put in the window, so only way to view sea was kneeling on the bed !! Not even any chairs to sit on .. The en- suite was dreadful, dirty tiles and not enough room to swing a cat, I could sit on the loo and reach the sink to clean my teeth if I desired ! .. It said Bar in the blurb but was told verbally it only opened on a Thurs, Fri, and Saturday night, no good to us as we were there Mon/Thurs.. Also again stating in the blurb WiFi all over the hotel, guess what it didn't work only in the restaurant ..

My friend and I enjoyed our stay, the beds were very comfortable, shower was lovely, the two girls in the evening and again at breakfast were very friendly..... I would highly recommend.

Friendly welcoming staff and like what has been done with the bar area. Also very accomodating with limited parking facilities.

Room very 'dated' appearance; especially after considering modern appearance of the bar. Bathroom in room also tiny and not enough space to put things in or get in/out of shower. Also no hooks on doors to hang anything up whilst in bathroom. However, can't really complain when consider location and cost of room. Also bed was suprisingly comfortable.

i liked the friendly and polite staff, two young girls on breakfast duty were both helpful and polite well mannered girls and the breakfast was everything my wife and i could want full marks.

the cold weather ha ha

Room7 floor to ceiling sash windows allowing you to gaze accross weymouth bay whilst led in a very comfortable bed. The shower ( we called it the Dalek) with built in radio and body jets was great. Friendly staff and owner. Breakfast was good, price was reasonable for like for like hotel and facilities, would stay again.

Curtains were a pain in the a**e to open and close but this is nothing to be put off by.

Staff really friendly good location

Dirty curtains, flithy lamp shade mould in the bathroom, carpets very worn - potential Health and Safety issue. when turning on hot top from sink in the bedroom the whole room rattled no parking - as promised !!! had to car in the main Weymouth car park over night

Staff were very helpful & friendly with a cracking bar. Cocktail happy hour was spot on.

Great room with sea view through the scaffolding. Very clean and spacious. Fab Breakfast with friendly staff, well run guest house would stay again.

Just a couple of grumps or call it advice. Please inform guest's when booking that you have improvement work going, and when you have a pre arranged function in the bar. We understand improvements have to be done low season and it did not affect our stay in any way.
