Nice bar area My room was cold. The radiator in the bedroom was barely warm. The bath was very small. The water was not very hot. The mattress was uncomfortable

The staff , were friendly, but I think they were embarrassed by the state of the rooms. The room we were in was on the first floor, but really on the second floor!! The room itself was very very tired, the carpet was disgusting, and the floor it self creaked like I have never heard before. The bathroom was ugg!!

Price and location. Free parking and free wi-fi. Breakfast was excellent value for money. Dinner was also very good indeed and good value for money. Staff were unintrusive and very hospitable and helpful. I also liked the pictures on entrance to Reception from the car park. Comfortable bed, They brightened up an otherwise dull decor. Stairs were rather steep and there was only a lift on one side of the block. Noise transfer from adjacent room.

Overall the hotel was a little basic. Although some recent upgrades were visible, many areas (i.e. carpets, decor etc..) still looked a bit poor/cheap.

Our room had an uneven floor and doors, nothing closed properly, didn't use the bathroom - waited till we got home the following day! Most of the woodwork had nails sticking out off it!!!!!!!!! Website pictures are nothing like the hotel really is - totally misleading. Would not book again.

The bed was comfy Room small and badly situated next to a stairwell and emergancy exit i.e. (smokers way out) door did not fit so gaps all around noise went on until 3 am (music and shouting)then began again at 6.40 am doors constantly slamming in fact felt like we were in a prison cell. Toiletries were a drizzle of shapoo and hand wash in on the wall refillable containers, the shapoo makes your hair like straw in fact i would say it was just cheap detergant in them.

It was very good value for money, the staff were polite and helpful, the bed was comfortable and there was plentiful hot water. From our point of view, it is five minutes away from where we were working (and where we will continue to be working on and off over the next several weeks). Car parking is good and the breakfast was nice, especially the sausages! Next time I stay with you, I'd like to be able to have marmalade with my toast please!

Staff were clueless, unfriendly and unhelpful. When I checked in, she couldn't find my booking and asked if my name was Gillian (it's Andrew ffs!) and there were two others sat down who had the same problem - she couldn't find their bookings. Then as I was going upstairs (lift out of order!) a chap came down and was furiously demanding his money back. Not impressed at all!

The hotel well served my purpose for the money I paid. I speak as a Wolverhampton born man, when I say that the previous splendour of this hotel has long gone but the current version is more than adequate.

Easy ti find the staff at the bar were very ignorant , asked for a pint it was flat asked to do another they poured it into another glass I explained that wouldnt be good enough , a shug of the shoulders was the responce , but they actually did do it, the wallls in the room are paper thin , there was no attention to any detail in the bathroom , soap holder very nearly empty should be topped up daily . The resturant was quite busy , I do not know why , the group next to us did not get anythink like they ordered but they execpted it as i belelive they just wanted to finish and go. The lady at breakfast was the execption , however that was about the only posotive I can give
