Score from 838 reviews Very good
Staff very friendly, check in easy , restaurant was very reasonable and food very good.
Room was slightly chilly but did eventually warm up within a few minutes.
Great Budget Hotel in easy walk of Wolverhampton City Centre. Just what was needed for a Christmas Night Out with work. Rooms were clean and bed was comfortable. Free Car Park
There was some noise from outside which woke me up in the middle of the night.
Breakfast was nice with good service
The room was dirty and cold there was no toiletry complimentaries there was hair all over the room and bath room
Lots of spaces free in the car park
The smell (yes, in every part of the building) The staff; receptionist told me to wait when I approached her because "can't I see she's on the phone". I actually asked her later if she was feeling ok, which seemed to catch her out. Breakfast was sparse and overpriced. The welcome foyer was more retirement home than hotel.
bath room was dirty with mould on the shower screen and the paintwork looked very tired
The first room I was given had people already in the room - could have been very embarrassing . 2 nd room ok but broken tv and no wifi Won't use it again
Hotel needed a good lick of paint
Good Location, Seating area in reception nice and comfy, bed was comfy, room was warm, staff were very friendly and helpful.
Hotel needs massive investment. Room was shabby, bath and sink needed replacing, needed a lick of paint, Outside sign lights didn't work, 'Hotel this way' sign wonky. A very tatty hotel. Breakfast was a bit naff, coffee machine was rubbish and tasted awful. The notorious lift was disgusting - stained carpet, smelly and a beer can thrown in the corner at 9.30am in the morning, so make sure you use the stairs!...
Room OK and well equipped
Noise from next door room late at night - walls not very thick ! Corridors dingy, carpet needs replacing
The staff and location
It was dirty so wouldnt entertain eating there and it was very noisy so ok for 1 night but woukdnt book again.
The room had a decent TV the usual facilities and it was quiet.
The Bar and the Breakfast, came in to the bar at 10.30, waited 5 mins no-one to serve, walked all the way round to reception to get someone and I had to do it each time I needed a drink, so did everyone else. Breakfast, Hot drinks were cold and weak and you had to help yourself.
The room was warm, cosy and comfortable. Everything worked. Good lighting in the bathroom with a great shower. Very good value for money, would definitely stay again. All staff very friendly and helpful.
The sink was dirty, not enough staff on breakfast duty, no breakfast left at 10:10 am....
no problems, just what we needed.
Ok for a budget hotel, close to town, warm.
The place is a bit smelly, my room did smell but was ok, with windows open lol.ok for a short stay.5/ 10.
Noise! Never stayed anywhere as noisy as this place.
Big and clean room, nice bathroom
Quite noisy and the heating was too high
More than a mike from station. Not walkable in the rain with a suitcase. Taxi fares varied between £2.80 and £5 to town centre. TV did not work. Public areas need decorating. Hole in bedroom carpet.
We very much like the staff's hospitality and the restaurant. The food was excellent and very well presented and served, excellent value for money too.
shower doors were broken, bath too deep to get in/out of and nothing to hold onto for safer access in/out. The wash basin was cracked and the bath was grimy. The fire alarm was activated at 1:50am and no staff came to inform us that it was a false alarm and safe to return to our room.
Doors slamming at night breakfast not that good and no black pudding on cooked meal
Polite Staff. Cleanliness. Facilities.
Poor mattress. Noisy. Looking tired and worn.
Staff were nice hotel was nice room nice
Paper thin bedroom walls might as well shared a room with next door. Paid for late check out and repeatedly disturbed by the cleaners outside the bedroom door even though the sign was on the door.
Despite sending emails to this hotel these were ignored as was an email for VAT receipt, after contacting booking .com I finally got an answer to an email from their reception which needs to do a course in customer service as I found their responses very demining.
The staff were pleasant and tried to help when we requested things. The beds are nice and the setup is good.
For the money premier Inn is a much better deal. No rag to wash with nor toothbrush provided. The shower leaked and one window did not want to open. For the money you do expect a little more.
Convenience of location
The staff were very offhand the TV in our room did not work and although we reported it nothing was done about it.the hotel was very shabby and in need of updating.would not use it again very disappointed.
