Great location in a quiet village but in easy reach of Shrewsbury. The staff in all areas were very pleasant and helpful. We had a twin room right at the top, be aware that there are several flights of stairs to negotiate which we managed without a problem. The room was very clean and well appointed, the beds most comfortable. We stayed 3 nights and returned each evening to a thoroughly serviced room. Meals were available and good value, choice of cooked or light breakfast, evening meals generous and most enjoyable. Overall great value and we'd definitely return if the opportunity arouse.

    Nothing to dislike.

Lovely room although small it was well planned. Good facilities in the room. Staff were friendly although were quite busy. Very clean room and bar.

There was a funny smell in the corridor and the breakfast was nice but undercooked. It is a working pub so barrels were being unloaded as we went to breakfast and there was quite a few people in the pub the night before. I would stay here again.

The location suited our travelling needs to see local sites (sights). Excellent food and friendly staff. Excellent view of Shrewsbury and the River Severn. I have already recommend the hotel to friends.

Would liked option of fresh fruit at breakfast. More detailed instructions on air conditioning. If possible a small empty fridge in the room.

Quite country location with views across the river seven from the rooms and bar terrace. We walked into Shrewsbury along footpaths in countryside allow around an hour for this. Rooms comfortable and well proportioned. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. We had three evening meals and a breakfast, couldn't fault them, good value. We booked a third night for our return trip and visited Iron Bridge & the museum at RAF Cosford on route home to Suffolk. Thank you to The Corbet Arms team for a wonderful stay

Easy to get to, in a very good location on the River. All the staff were lovely and very helpful. Our room had air con, very welcome as extremely hot. The room appeared new, it and the bathroom were very clean, there was a very large and very comfortable bed and lots of storage space. Really good breakfast the next morning. I would certainly stay here again and have no hesitation in recomending it, although I really would like to keep it to myself as I don't want it to get too popular!

    Nothing, everything was first class.

Clean and bright, good food, friendly staff.

Steep stairs to rooms, ours was top room and was too hot, dangerous window in a reveal where a child can climb into - unattended child could easily fall to their death.

Warm welcome on arrival and helpful in arranging taxi for following morning to go to train station. Very comfortable room with excellent bathroom facilities, wide screen tv, tea/coffee facilities with choice of milk (low fat or full fat). Excellent dinner - food cooked to perfection.

No in house telephone system - had to go to the bar for information/book a meal /taxi etc.
