Location was brilliant staff were great breakfast excellent
Just the parking
The location is perfect, the staff and owners are really nice and can't do enough for you. Room 2 is the only 4 poster.......well worth an extra few pounds a night.
location and peace and quite, breakfast was excellent.
bathroom trim needed repair, couldn't find anyone to report it to. Need to retune tv's so all freeview channels work.
Helpful landlord who pointed us in the right direction to discover The Bram Stoker / Dracula connections for our products from Transylvania.
Shower was very cramped
Lovely staff Comfy bed Nice cool room, don't like it hot Great location
Staff were very friendly ..quiet room quiet location
This b and b is situated on West Cliff very near the front and the Whitby Pavilion which was just where I wanted to be. It was 5 minutes walk down Silver Street to the shops, and not more than 10 minutes to the harbour. It was a good price and very good value for money. It was quiet too. Staff were helpful and pleasant
Breakfast finished a bit early for me for a weekend stay. They finished serving at 9.15 a.m.
Since the guest house is on the cliffs near the arch (toward the crescent) it was easy to walk down to attractions at the piers. Otherwise, around the other corner was Skinner Street, one of the most interesting shopping streets..
I couldn't use the courtesy computer since some other guest had logged on to email and not logged off. Couldn't close or remove his account. Tried everything I knew--should have asked for help.
The location was great being right where we wanted to be.
First night there was cold. No heating was turned on. No instruction on how to turn hest on. Next night the temperature was fine.
Nice worm welcome, the staff are on the ball, the food, breakfast was excellent and set you up for the day. Parking was not a problem. We will be staying here again.
Breakfast and friendly service. Location was great.
Room was a bit cramped.
the staff were so lovely and friendly. breakfast was everything you could want.
rooms were a bit small. could do with some new beds. struggled for plug sockets.
The size of the poster bed room with its 2 seater lounge chair placed at the bay window was terrific. Uphill from the main town centre the guesthouse is an easy walk and is convenient to all attractions.
Breakfast is served in the basement and it hss no views but our host were friendly and informative.
Central,friendly and welcoming
The staff cannot do enough for you, the cleanliness is excellent, your breakfast is cooked however you like it and plenty of it. I love Whitby anyway but the location is less than 10 minutes to the beach and town. Would definately stay again.
Parking is difficult but that is not The owners fault, but for a minimum charge you can purchase a card from them to put in your card and park anywhere in the zone areas. For anyone who as difficulty climbing stairs I'm sure they would put you in a room on a lower level if asked when you book
Location is excellent Staff and owners very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast excellent Parking permit excellent at 50p for 3 days directly outside.
Room 9 was a little on the small and "cramped" side. Bathroom also cramped. Bed is "tired".
Very friendly, and the breakfasts were good and service 10/10

Friendly staff, helpful with their knowledge of local area. Lovely cooked breakfasts. Comfortable beds
Nothing to dislike. Our room was a little on the small side and couldn't access many freeview channels on the TV, but these were just minor niggles
