Extremely friendly and helpful staff, happy to cater to dietary requirements. Rooms were immaculate and perfect to sleep in
Wifi was prone to dropping out
The owners went out of their way to make sure that we had everything we needed. Room was comfortable, bathroom modern and clean. When we are next in Whitehaven, we'll definitely stay there.
Can't remember anything we didn't like.
The room was excellent and tastefully decorated could not fault it.
Whitehaven what a run down place ...shame you couldn't move the b&b and hosts to a better part of the lakes
The service is awesome and the breackfast is amazing. Completly recomendad for anyone visiting Cumbria
The Windermere room was very clean and spacious, tastefully decorated, and had everything we needed for our stay. The en suite was great with a modern shower and plenty of towels. The breakfast was tasty and varied. Great value for money and better than a lot of hotels.
Corner house, home from home. Clean and comfortable.
Whitehaven have,nt got many restaurants, so on a Sunday and bank holiday no choice, of where to eat. Never before have I ate at McDonald when on holiday, for evening meal. Thought I was in Newcastle, not Whitehaven shouting loud groups.
Beautiful Period Property with original features. Clean and tidy. Very quiet and peaceful -we had a very good night's sleep. Friendly and very organised hosts. Delicious breakfast - best quality English breakfast we ever had.
Twin room is quite tiny - hardly any space to put the luggage.
Having stayed this lovely accommodation for one night...it exceeded my expectations, everything was perfect..starting with the warm welcome from the host, the place is also very clean, comfortable beds, very quiet, car park space, great service, ..... and the list goes on and on. The best thing about this place is the fact that the the host make you feel very special and they try their at most to make you enjoy your stay. I strongly recommend staying this accommodation if you are in or near Whitehaven.
I thought very hard about this question, however i couldn't think of anything that i didn't like.
Exceptionally comfortable rooms and bed
Staff a bit brisk, maybe could be a bit more flexible
very friendly likeable owners very good breakfast
Only 10mins walk from town this place is a lovely Georgian house. The rooms are clean & comfy and the bathroom very nice with a big powerful shower! (I stayed in a single room) The breakfast was delicious, staff friendly and the whole place has been decorated to a high spec to make it a great place to stay. I would recommend this to anyone travelling to Whitehaven
The weather! Cant fault the B&B in the slightest though!
everything was absolutely spot on. better than quite a few 3star hotels we have stayed at. Could not fault anything!
there was nothing to dislike.
Welcoming, friendly owners. Good quality breakfast ingredients
check out time of 10 am, even an extra hour would be welcome
Best breakfast ever!
Clean comfortable room in a beautiful house. Really good breakfast. Well set up for cyclists. Hotel next door is lovely for Dinner
Room a little small
The owners were lovely and we would certainly return when we are next in the area. The house has been beautifully renovated and the beds are a dream!
Double room was good size, nicely decorated. Good breakfast. Secure ccycle storage (for c2c).
Single room quite small with separate bathroom
Loved the room, spotlessly clean too, very spacious and comfortable :) Are overall stay was perfect apart from the wAy we were greeted.
The way we were greated by the female owner, no good evening, nothing! Other than " I will shut the door!" As my partner had left it open due to both hands occupied by luggage. I found this very rude! Also breakfast was lovely perfectly cooked but I love natural yogurt and would expect it in a four star B and B The quilt we had was very heavy, I couldn't sleep with no cover so had to use it which ment I woke several times, a lighter quilt is needed or an optional linen sheet
Lovely old building with high ceilings, exceptionally clean and beautifully furnished. Friendly owners. Great value for money.
