Cute hotel above a traditional pub. Excellent food and very friendly helpful staff. Room was lovely and clean, comfy bed and we could just see the sea from our window. Bathroom was new and clean.

Not much the Thai food in the evening was good

We're do you start very basic and noisy not very welcoming the room was ok the pub very tired looking. Breakfast food poor and dinning room cold. If you want a relaxing cosy inn don't go . Wall very thin you could here every word. If you are on a budget and don't mind all of the above its ok .

Friendly welcoming owners, clean modern large bedrooms, modern ensuite with good hot showers, good location, good menu, good food. Good choice at breakfast large car park Overall would recommend it and enjoyed our stay, was all we thought it would be. Very nice

could hear the people in the next bedroom talking, so sound was a bit close for comfort maybe dont have the beds wall to wall, but it wasnt that bad drinks were a bit pricey, 4.40 for a glass of wine.

Friendly owners,staff and locals made us feel very welcome throughout. Room was nice, comfortable and nicely furnished. Location is within easy reach of all points of interest on the North Cornish coastline. we enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to stay again in the future.

The food, although very nice was a little over priced sadly and this is the only thing that lets this quaint and typically Cornish Pub/Hotel down.

Cold breakfast room ...no reference made tom coldness by staff or management ...heating not working form four full days ...an electric heater would have made a great difference

Quaint Character hotel. Good food and bar. Good location for touring North Cornwall.

Visited hotel previously but decorations etc getting tired. One senior member of staff was very frosty as was the breakfast room, which was very cold every morning.

Bathroom cold, heated towel rail inadequate. Not enough sockets in room, 2 sockets to accommodate tv, digibox, kettle and electric heater. Breakfast room freezing cold (radiators not on). Room overlooked, had to keep curtains shut. Maybe hang voiles for privacy.

Very friendly owners and stafff, very traditional country pub style but with modern facilities including good wi fi connection.

I stayed a little out of season so breakfast service was a little later than would have been ideal for me.

Absolutely nothing

The room was terrible. The owners refused to turn the heat on and gave us an electric fire for the room. No clock, no hairdryer. We nearly froze to death

Was close to all the sights nwe wanted to see.

Heating in the rooms needs attention. They are probably more geared for summer travellers.

the heating didnt work and it was very cold thanks to vicky who sorted out the coal fire and some electric heaters we managed to keep quite warm. the breakfast were excellent, but the evening meals were not good at all, very little choice, expensive and poorly cooked.

We had a lovely evening meal and the breakfast was OK. The room was clean but found the bed could have been a bit firmer.

Overall I thought the hotel was only average. The location was remote and you had to get in the car to travel to any points of interest. Eg Port Isaac. Staff could have been more helpful in that respect.
