Very comfortable room, friendly staff, excellent food, creme brulee' (not sure if this is the correct spelling) was to die for. Plenty to choose from on the menu. The breakfast was very good.
Nothing to dislike.
Great ambience and 14th century quirkiness, Staff wonderful.
Because of the building's age, the shower cubicle was a bit small
We were given a very warm and friendly welcome by Mark who very kindly lugged my over large case to our light and airy room. An excellent supper, superb service and to cap it all off a personal send off with a lift to the station. Faultless!
Everything was good. Dinner and breakfast the following day was well cooked. Nice to see a pub so busy, but imagine this was due to Tuesday fish and chip offer. Friendly staff. Small room and en suite but nicely decorated and clean.
Nothing. Mind your head if you are tall - it is obviously an old building so has low ceilings and beams.
the owner was at tentative and knowledgeable the young staff were a delight
Staff were very helpful and friendly Breakfast and dinner was excellent, much more than traditional pub grub Picturesque thatched inn
Noise from bar into the bedroom Broken door on shower Shower took at least 15 minutes on our first morning to get the hot water running through Cobwebs on ceiling Only net curtain on bathroom window, not enough privacy
breakfast was v slow in coming - but was good when it arrived
The fact that we only booked for the one night!
Wonderful blend of a really old English pub with tastefully blended modern facilities. Stunning exterior with a wonderful display of annuals in full bloom. Good breakfast.
Nothing to dislike.

Great atmosphere and nicely renovated bedrooms. Lovely food in restaurant.
Stairway up to rooms need an upgrade.
Nice staff. Food was very good in the restaurant
Room was noisy and very hot
The appearance - the long building and thatched roof are unique and the simple but effective decoration inside.
Flowers in hotel. Patio area at Inn very attractive.
Vegetarian food could be improved.
Lovely ambience and good food - everyone very helpful
Room was very clean cosy and warm.
Kept losing signal on iPhone
Lovely pub with lots of character. The staff were friendly and the food was fantastic.
Shower was confusing and could not always get decent hot water.
Liked the location. A friendly place to stay.
Nothing really to dislike.
i would not stay there again. Name: Beverly Catt
Room was not cleaned properly there was urine on the bathroom floor which i cleaned up i don't think they hoovered room or dusted it and not greeted when we arrived, not sure who was running it !!! food was not that great.
Friendly and helpful staff, good food and general atmosphere in bar/restaurant
The first bedroom and bathroom were rather cramped but well decorated and comfortable but there was a problem with the hot water system so we were moved to a bigger room (No 3)which was fine and better reflected the nightly price.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Food excellent beds comfortable
Was not sure how to operate the hot and cold system on the bath/shower would have helped to have insructions
We had a very warm welcome from all the staff and although we were late arrivals it was no trouble for them to find us something to eat. Great attention to detail. Great live music in the bar when we arrived.
Stairs and uneven floors (expected in such an old building) could be difficult for people with reduced mobility.
very friendly staff lovely rooms character pub excellent food
warm welcome and great service, comfy bed
no shower gel and just one mini shampoo and conditioner. Can hear the neighbours through the walls. They woke us at 5.45am on a Sunday morning and talked continuously for 2 hours.
