Location near to Liverpool Airport Hard to find. Bedside lights provided but only 1 side was near enough to a socket to use. The main problem we encountered was with the breakfast which, alas, is not optional. The man serving breakfast was extremely grumpy throughout, totally disinterested in serving people and took over 30 minutes to prepare our modest cooked breakfast (which he got wrong on both counts). Luckily we had allowed enough time to absorb this delay and reached the airport in time for our flight. There should definitely be a "no breakfast" option at a lower price.

Carol was very friendly Given previous rave reviews, we were surprised to find a poor shower, very soft and uncomfortable beds and the overall cluttered and dirty state of the house. The Cottage is just okay, its not an 8 / 10

The location of the cottage was excellent, the village is very quaint. We found an excellent walk which took us to the Mersey bank and lighthouse, with ample walks across fields and countryside. The accomodation was excellent and the proprieters were very helpful and friendly.

Liked the friendly staff found. The pub across the road was nice. Location was nice. The water from the shower was cold even in my daughters room. Room not warm enough. Bed not comfy enough. Not much choice for breakfast.

Excellent breakfast and comfortable room The male owner wasn't at all friendly when we arrived and he served our breakfast just wearing a pair of socks, no shoes. Not the best person to be in a role dealing with the public. Also, our room had no lock on the door and when we asked about this he said - yes I know, I need to put a new one on. Surely this is a priority? When we booked we were shown one price but we were actually charged £28 more - the tariff and the advertising is very misleading

Good location in sleepy village with a couple of pubs nearby for an evening meal and close to airport and other "attractions". Aircraft noise during the day (but it's close to the airport - can't have both).

Its a lovely family run B and B, both Carol and Ian were really helpful and friendly. I loved having the two cats, a dog and chickens in the garden. It's very good value. A real family home. Great full english to start the day also. It's a half hour drive into Liverpool, but it's a very easy straight route. I didn't mind it, but it should be mentioned it is right next to the airport so there is air plane noise very close when a plane flys over. You don't notice it much inside though. Its a normal working home also, which I really enjoyed.

Unlike most hotels, I had a very nice and spacious room and cloakroom. Located in a quiet village with easy access to airport. I enjoyed my brief stay there, and will go back there again. Thank you.
