Friendly owners - I expected to have to go out to find somewhere to eat, but they provided a really tasty evening meal for me. Good conversation, lovely spacious room with its own lounge area. Made to feel very welcome
Plenty of Fresh Air, Country side
Had to look hard in the Dark especially nocte.
location, directions - easy to find (illuminated sign outside). Comfy room, tasty breakfast. attentive and efficient owners.
Nothing it was perfect.
Owners were friendly and very helpful - nothing was too much trouble The size of the hotel - small and personal. Interior - stylish, elegant and well maintained. Spotlessly clean. Warm, comfortable room with lots of hanging and drawer space.
Nothing. Only point I would make - it would be nice if vegetarian sausages were offered on the breakfast menu
Beautifully appointed throughout Friendly, chatty owners: Steve and Jen. Delightful place to stay.
Little off the beaten track but a Satnav took us straight there.
The Hotel was tastefully decorated and was located in a tranquil part of the county. The food and service were very much to our tastes and Mr and Mrs Adams were vey friendly and helpful. We look forward to repeating our visit.
Made to feel very welcome by the owners will stay again next time I am in the area
My mum got totally lost on arrival and despite the the fact that it was after 10pm the owner took the trouble to drive out to find her. Without such help she may never have found her way there. This was beyond the call of duty. This B&B offers immaculate, clean accommodation, very comfortable beds, tasteful decor, great views, fantastic breakfasts and very friendly and welcoming owners/managers.
Breakfast is the best anywhere, hosts wonderful.
very tasteful decor, impecably clean and lovely views across the fields.
The bed, the location, the cleanliness.
Please don't advertise "room service" if you don't want to do this. In addition to this, I felt that booking this hotel through booking.com was an inconvenience. I am not sure how this works for the hotelier but I was made to feel uncomfortable when checking out.
Was an excellent hotel, the couple who own it were lovely. Room was beautiful, good views, lovely and clean. Would stay again
Both owners were delightful, helpful, attentive not intrusive. Arranged a local pub meal for us, at their suggestion, which was excellent. Well appointed hotel, comfortable, immaculately clean. We will return. Highly recommended!
Very clean, comfortable beds and lovely friendly couple who run the b&b. would definitely recommend.
Perhaps more choice of hot dishes at breakfast but what we had was very good.
We only stayed one night but we could not fault anything apart from the miserable Northamptonshire weather! We spent a comfortable evening in the lounge area, enjoyed a tasty supper, interesting conversations with the owners and caught up with local news as we both hail from the county. In the morning breakfast was delicious.
Big, well appointed, quality room with patio, armchair, flat screen TV. Good shower, good internet, countryside setting, friendly hosts, good quality pub food 2 miles down the road, fields as far as the eye can see from patio, very quiet, good breakfast .. would happily stay again.
Internet availability appears to be inconsistent. I'm an early riser and had no connection from 05:00 to 08:00. A bit annoying but balanced against the plus points would not deter me from staying again.
The people, the food and a homely feel to the place. Menu covers a range of tastes.and the lamb was superb as mentioned by previous visitors.
Honestly cannot think of any negative here.
The comfort, the personal and friendly touch that is sadly lacking in some of the bigger hotels,we only stayed 1 night, but a very pleasurable experience,
Friendly but professional and attentive family-run service, very comfortable and spacious en-suite room. Great home prepared food. Catered for vegetarians Quiet, rural location, but only a short drive into Kettering.
Friendly family service. Nice clean rooms and excellent facilities throughout.
Nothing not to like
Rural setting but close enough for Silverstone Circuit (40 mins by car). Good parking. Exceptionally clean with high decorative state throughout. Very good breakfast selection. Owners (Jenny & Steve) very helpful and ready to give information on the local area.
Friendly owners Clean rooms and public areas Good breakfast Nice room with door leading onto patio
staff very helpful. beautiful room very comfortable wonderful breakfast fantastic view
Very comfortable bed and kind and helpful hosts, who drove out to guide me to the house after I got hopelessley lost in the middle of the night! My own fault - due to tempremental SatNav and the fact that I'd forgotten to print off the directions.
Best small hotel I have ever stayed in.
