This former 18th-century farmhouse is set in Constable Burton, at the gateway to the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. It offers 2 pub bars with log fires and a restaurant using local and home-grown produce....

Wish the hotel had opened before 6pm
Very friendly service , nothing seemed too much trouble.
No food cooked on a Tuesday night. However, landlords advice on a local curry house was spot on.
Had a giggle in the bar with Landlord and locals, breakfast was great with good local sourced quality black pudding.
The outside of the pub looks pretty tired and belies the nice room inside which was a shame. A bit of tlc on the exterior would create a much better first impression. Check in was not until 6pm which we did not know so that was bit frustrating!
The staff were friendly and the pub had lovely atmosphere in the evening. The room was a good size and was well equipped.
The owner was very welcoming and homely. The restaurant cooked lovely food very well with obvious care and attention to detail. I can't wait to go back!
Local village community
I had a wonderful stay here. Tony made me feel very welcome and so did his regular customers . I was travelling alone to see my son pass out of the army which was daunting but I was made to feel so welcome . The room was superb. Tony gave me a lovely room with bath even though my booking had shown up as a shower room . Plenty of hot water, supplies of tea, coffee and biscuits and a lovely comfortable bed.Great wifi signal for a remote place, but also very easy to find.If I return to Yorkshire I will definitely return here, I would thoroughly recommend it to everyone Cheers Tony!!:)
Room over the bar so noisy and very little room to work for the business traveller.
Warmth of the greeting, food and breakfast. Beer great
Beautiful part of the country to stay and very peaceful.
very welcoming and nothing any trouble
The noisy cooler for the cellar which gave me a short nights sleep. It needs a service Tony! It's just under the winow of room 2.
Warm, friendly and you get what you pay for.
Excellent size room
Nice room clean and plenty of space
Nothing not to like.
Real Ale, Food and People. Lesley and Keith run the kitchen, What a memorable Lamb Curry. Wow! Great value.
Paul was lovely couldn't do enough for you and the locals very friendly. Breakfast filled you up for the day
Everything about the place was exceptional.
An excellent all round stay
Landlord Tony and the locals and a greyhound were very friendly and welcoming. Nice fry up too - with black pudding!
We booked a suite which was very comfortable and warm (it being Yorkshire in January!). The landlord,Tony, was very friendly and helpful.
A lovely rural pub with great atmosphere.
Staff were very helpful, food was very good, beer was excellent. Room was simple and comfy.
Stayed there for my sons Pass Off at Catterick. Thank you to Tony and everyone else including the regulars for a great 2 nights. Tony, the black pudding made it safely back to Belfast.
Really friendly, lovely place.
Tony the host very friendly his B&B made you feel so relaxed and welcoming and the locates also, will be making trip back forsure!!! The food in restaurant food great and the morning. Breakfast was very good and not rushed felt like being back home!!! Services number 1
Breakfast was not served with the same enthusiasm as evening meal. Heating erratic, room was at times cold with no way of turning heating on.
Evening meals excellent Lesley was particularly hospitable and friendly. Very friendly locals.
