Bonne prestation d'ensemble.

Parking en terre, très boueux.... (ce qui doit arriver souvent compte tenu du climat)

Le parking privé - quelle aubaine à Brighton! Un séjour très agréable.

Nice welcome, helpful staff, excellent breakfast. Very good value.

We have stayed at the courtlands before and the room was basic - this time we had a superb room. Staff work really hard to provide good service.

People were very welcoming at the hotel, the rooms were spacious and the bathrooms were done out well. It has a nice relaxing bar with a nice chatty barman

The only thing to complain about was the bed was uncomfortable.

I enjoyed a lovely single room , very convenient for the sea

I thought the bar meals had little variety and they were expensive .

We chose The Courtlands Hotel primarily on location, price and free parking (especially the latter as parking in Hove can be a bit of a nightmare). We were pleasantly surprised by its comfort, welcome and how handy it was to everything. There was something charmingly old fashioned about it and the staff were so pleasant and helpful. The only snag was it was a bit of a slog to get to our room (505) and we found it a bit hot at times.

Location.

Noisy stag do whilst we were there. A lot of bad language in mid afternoon on Saturday from a group of lads. One older couple left the lounge clearly bothered by it. Bar steward ignored their behaviour. Noisy plumbing .

Ok, you cant odds the british weather but the wind & rain came in heaps, this is not the problem; The problem was the sash windows they are so old and loose that they rattle and banged all night so I could not get any sleep so come the morning on checking out and was asked by the receptionist was every ok, her responce to the above was that her house does the same to which I replied that I did not pay to stay at her house. That was it no other reply or anything. Very dissapointed..!!!!!!!

It did the job for my stay for the brighton Marathon. Very good room and facilities.
