We had a terrible experience The showver stopped working, although you could only get burning hot or cold. I had soap on my body and it took 20 min before they came. They send us to the bottom floor and they didnt apologise and try to sort it out for the day after. We had to approach them and they were very ignorant. We had booked a table which we missed and my sister with her 3 months old baby who tarvelled from sweden ahd to wait for us. On top of that we asked for a bed forthe baby, they left it without a mattress and at 12 o'clock in the night they argued with my sister for 20 minutes. There was no aircondition or any fans. They offered my husband and i breafkfast but we all packed up early and just left as we did not want to stay with them. They ddidnt offer us anything else and caused a very uncomfortable scen in the reception in front of costumers. It is the worst hotel experience we ever had and we are people that never complain. it was a shame. |

The hotel is very well positioned, close to the beach, the cricket ground and local shops and restaurants. It has on-site car parking which is a real bonus in this part of town, although the entrances were narrow. It was a bit shabby - frayed carpets, chipped paint, stained bedcover. Some of the old sash windows did not open properly, and were jammed up with bits of wood. Also the swimming pool was shut and building works were taking place at the rear. Breakfast was no better than ok - I expect more for £9 a head. |

The hotel was comfortable and able to help us with most of our needs/requirements. The staff were unfailingly polite and helpful. The room we stayed in (as opposed to the other 3 rooms our party used) did not have running water to either the bath or the shower and this problem could nor be remedied - leaving us to "bathe" using water from the washbasin taps. Disappointing! |

Its proximity to the station and Sussx ccc County ground. Had dinner on both nights of my stay. One dish had simle ingredients specified, but instead of the vegetable specified for main course I got a mountain of salad, a dose of which I had already had with my starter. Itis surely pretty basic to produce a dosh as described on the menu. Nevertheless, the food was pretty good value. |

Can't comment as arrived at 23.00 and left next morning at 09.00. Only member of staff seen was the man who helped us take luggage to room. Need to check that all lights in rooms are working as we were in room 616 and the light in the small hallway leading to bathroom did not work. This meant that it was virtually impossible not to have to put bedroom light on during night if visit to bathroom was needed. |

Reception staff were really helpful in finding me somewhere to park. Great welcoming attitude. There was a function on but we were in other part of hotel away from party. Breakfast was to be £9.50 each. At rate paid it should have at least included a Continental breakfast! |

Most of the things were all right. On your website i havent seen any information about swimming pool being closed, so i guess its worth updating and also CCTV on the car park would help with safety over there. |

It was conveniently located, close to the seaside and shops. The staff was great. It had a car park, which is a HUGE asset in that area. We had meals there twice and the food was excellent. The only thing I would have liked would be to have had breakfast included. |

The biggest selling point for me was the close proximity to the seaside. It was possible for us to walk to shops, restaurants and the seaside The variability of the room rates, we had 2 double rooms, but one of them cost significantly more than the other with no explanation as to the reason |

It was the only place we could find with parking! The room was very clean. My only observation would be that it would have been a fairer price had breakfast have been included. That said it was still the best price we could find in the area. |
