On the seafront in the heart of Brighton's 'Lanes', this friendly hotel has a pool, gym and free Wi-Fi. It is well located for nightlife, restaurants and the beach.
Score from 2438 reviews Good
good wifi, breakfast good.parking.
Tired and dirty room needs decorating, filthy undersheet, bath disgusting, no shower. If my company wasn't paying I'd've walked.
Free wifi was good.
There was no hot water when we arrived in the evening. Dinner in the hotel restaurant was poor quality and poor value.
nice clean environment friendly and helpful staff
was at the wrong end of brighton for us
Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Clean.
The whole pace needs a bit of love & TLC. Tired carpets. Wonky lampshades. Ancient wallpaper. Very few powerpoints - some of which are old "round pin" style.
Good location good rooms would use again
Helpful staff Central location
Welcoming..clean..helpful staff and lovely room.
Excellent location to both Brighton and Hove. Fantastic free parking.
location for us because we visit our son near by.& free car park.
Staff were polite and helpful. Car Park
I couldn't imagine staying there for more than one night at a time. My room on 1st floor looked like it hadn't seen a paintbrush for at least 20 years, the mattress had seen better days. the shower was a hand held unit over bath. The corridor carpets were a potential trip hazard in certain places. All in all a very tired hotel which might suit those on a budget.
Staff very polite and welcoming. The free parking great, and a lift!
Charming location with friendly and passionate staff, everything was above our expectations.
Distance to Brighton beach.
Staff were very rude, ever heard of service with a smile?
Staff are always so cheerful and welcome you back.Location good for visiting friends. Nice large bedroom that we had on other visit.
Stairs and fire doors and long corridors
Hotel and location both quiet. Easy parking with excellent bus service cIose by. Hotel very comfortable and staff friendly and very helpful. Loved the decor and furniture.
Bedroom little on small side but okay for short stay.
the location, not far from the beach, and in a nice quiet leafy lane...
the very hard bed I had to try and sleep on...
this time we stayed in room 114.Cracked floor tiles in bathroom.Shower location over the bath had not been thought out.
Location was excellent for access to both London and Heathrow.
Car park could do with attention. Rooms are small but this was expected.
Location and free car parking. Comfort. Just right for what we needed.
Room to small. Cuppa tea from hotel bar way to expensive. Tea making facilities in room seemed to be limited.
my mum and I stayed here whilst visiting my son and his girlfriend for one night. The room was comfortable. We didn't take advantage of the bar, restaurant etc but the free car park was an advantage for this area.
There were lots of scaffolding and building materials inches from our bathroom and bedroom window but thankfully no workmen at that time as they would have been able to see straight into the bathroom window. The décor could do with a bit of updating to say the least.
Large comfortable room Friendly, helpful staff Easy to get into Brighton by cab Cabs are plentiful and not expensive.
Very high prices in the bar
It was a nice walk to Brighton pier also the Hotel had its own car park, and the staff member who was on in the evening was friendly and welcoming.
The staff member who checked us in made us as welcome as a fox in a hen house! No directions to our room the who.le experience of checking in was dreadful!!!The high level dust throughout the room was black dust (not dusted for some time) the low level dust in the bathroom was a little bit better the cupboard under the sink was disgusting and the bottom of the divan bed was rip and stained...Through out the corridor was dusty and above ever door. Could do with a good high and low clean. Carpet looked overstretched stained in places and cheap.
Location, size of room, parking, helpful staff
Lumpy mattress Blocked basin - water didn't drain away (Room 101)
We liked the parking space
Quit low standard for the price we paid
