The Courtyard, Laurel Farm  

Great B and B, nice rooms and very helpful owners, breakfast was cooked to perfection.

We have stayed at Laurel farm many times when visiting my mother in law; and love to return. Janet and Kevin are so friendly, the accommodation is always clean and comfortable, it is an excellent location for us a superb place to stay.

Wonderful stay, Janet and her husband were lovely hosts and made is feel very welcome. The room / cottage was beautiful, spacious, very peaceful and lovely views surrounding areas. Short drive to the sea and lakes, with good restaurants in the area. If you are looking for a lovely weekend away I would give this 10/10 as the place to stay

Comfortable,spacious, clean rooms, delicious breakfast and friendly hosts.

We enjoyed a warm welcome and we were given a choiced of the available rooms which were all of very high standard in both appointments, comfort and size.A choice of breakfast was available, the full English was freshly prepared from locally sourced ingredients and was excellent.The house and courtyard are in a very quiet and peaceful location yet close to all facilities. In the countryside but a short drive from large beach resorts and the broads.

The room was spacious and immaculate, quiet and extremely comfortable. The breakfast was perfect with great attention to detail. No pre-packed butter or marmalade here! Very welcoming and friendly. Couldn't fault it in any way at all - perfection. It is a gem of a place.

It was Excelent and Janet and Kevin the owners couldn't do enough for us, a Excelent stay ( in fact better in some ways to high end hotels we've locally stayed in , in the Beccles area ;)

The only thing was the entrance to the courtyard buildings ! : a little off putting when first entered. This does the place a great miss justice indeed !.

Family run Georgian farmhouse with large self contained rooms in the house or old stables. English breakfast absolutely delicious. A warm welcome, wish we had been staying longer. Cannot recommend this enough.

Friendly hosts.

Very friendly down to earth owners who had time to spend with their guests. The room was outstanding, comfortable, very tastefully decorated, clean and spacious. We will definately be coming back.

Most of all we liked the friendly and helpful approach of the owners, who let us start our stay early so we could get to a local music festival on time, and were flexible and amenable throughout. Lovely modernised farm outbuildings with horses nearby, excellent breakfasts in conservatory, lots of little touches in rooms, all as advertised on the site and more. We already have a verbal agreement to return! Highly recommended.

Nothing we did not like but we needed a way to dry out our wet clothes from the festival: understandably the heating was off in summer, but maybe a warm towel rail would be nice, as this is outdoor walking and sightseeing country and a British summer is never completely dry, even in the most easterly part of England..

The friendliness and flexibility of the staff. We had a family funeral to attend in the area and our needs were met sympathetically and with a great deal of care. Thank you.

The accomodation was excellent very large rooms and very clean. Location was very peaceful ensuring a good night sleep. Breakfast was very good and the Owners were very frindly and welcoming. I will be staying here again when I am in the area.

Peaceful location, good breakfast, felt very relaxed whilst there

The b&b is in a rural setting, on a working farm. The main farm house is a beautiful regency style house with a pretty cottage garden, Jane Autin- esque! Our courtyard room was very cosy, with pine furniture, including a table and chairs and a very comfortable bed. There was also a tv, fridge, microwave and tea/coffee and kettle. A hairdryer was provided and the makeup mirror had a magnified side, very useful for someone who is long sighted! The lovely full breakfast was a good start to the day. The owner was very friendly and helpful.

The wet room was rather stark and cold looking and there was no chain on the sink plug, which made it difficult to remove the plug. There was a rather dilaperdated old barn opposite the courtyard.
