Here at the Crags Hotel we like to keep it simple. We don't claim to be a boutique hotel, just a simple old fashioned traditional Scottish inn. All of our rooms are clean, welcoming and very, very comfortable.
Callander is often known as Rob Roy country, after the famous Scottish folk hero and 18th century outlaw. The town lies in an area of outstanding natural beauty, and is in a great position for easy day trips to Loch Lomond, Stirling, Perth, Glasgow and Edinburgh.
Closer to the hotel, a walk to Bracklinn Falls or up Callander Crags are both essentials. Alternatively, you could enjoy a fascinating insight into the area’s history at the Rob Roy Visitor Centre, relax in the local woollen mills, or browse through the many craft shops and potteries nearby.
