Score from 199 reviews Good
Friendly owner, clean, welcoming, helpful with ideas of good places to eat, drink visit, also re tram times costs etc.
Rooms small especially bathrooms toilet.
Noise from room above
GREAT PLACE TO STAY BREAKFAST VERY GOOD ROOM VERY VERY CLEAN WE WOULD DEF STAY HERE AGAIN.
Warm welcome Spacious room Food Good decor
Perhaps would have been better putting superior rooms on top floor and family rooms on 1st floor. Little bit of noise from above with little ones running around but we coped. Floor boards could do with securing very squeaky in all rooms but again coped.
Owners Karen and Richard were very helpful and made us feel very welcome . The breakfasts are excellent . Would definitely be back and recommend to family and friends.
Breakfasts were excellent location quiet but easy access to Blackpool. welcoming and helpful, with plenty of useful information.
There was nothing to dislike. It might have been better having a longer time for attending breakfast. ie. 8.30-9.30 instead of 08.30 to 9.00
Room Food Hospitality Cleanliness Location All the above we would recommend.
Nothing we didn't like.
All.Nothing to complain about the owners were great nothing too much trouble
Spacious room Tea making facilities Big soft towels Memory foam mattress Welcoming hosts
Squeaky floorboards and noisy pipes when running a bath woke us in the morning from the room above, plus child running and jumping about! Didn't spoil our stay though!
My wife and I had a lovely stay here.Hotel was very comfortable, in a quiet area, close to bus and tram stops.Car parking close by was very convenient.
The unpredictable weather!
Nice guesthouse very clean. Stayed for 2 nights with our 12 year old granddaughter. Our room was of good size and nice and bright. Hairdryer also tea coffee and biscuits. Lovely shower room with toiletries. Hotel was full but breakfast was spot on, served nicely by Karen the owner. Plenty of cereal and wonderful full English. My husband and I have been coming to blackpool for years and this is our first stay at designer we would come back to this lovely and peaceful b&b.
Only the steep stairs to room 2.
Karen and Richard, attentive , helpful, lovely couple. Room was spotless as was the rest of what I saw of the hotel. The kitchen was sparkling! Adequate breakfast with a good selection. Good location right by the tram stop, promenade and beach. Recommend the 3 day or weekly transport pass.
Being moderately handicapped the somewhat steep front steps were a bit challenging. That aside, it is difficult to find fault with this excellent hostelry.
location great. Quiet but next to trams for Blackpool centre. We had lovely views of park and sea nice and open, not jammed in a street. No noise at night, great for sleeping. .Decent breakfast. Really clean place to stay.
No bar as such, lacked a bit of atphosphere, but cannot fault our hosts, they were very friendly. No other complaints.
The room was so comfortable and clean which made up for having no views from the windows. The breakfast was great with a choice of menu. A lovely TV room and a seperate sun lounge with great views. We hope to go back very soon.
The fact that our windows looked out onto the nieghbouring property wall but as we didn't book till the day before and they only had that room left we can't really moan on the whole the hotel and owners was fantastic so very relaxing
The craigmore is in an excellent location, our sea view room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was of a very high quality would definitely go back.
all round excellent
Exceptionally clean. Nice and friendly owners. Good breakfast.
Friendly owners, quiet location but very close to transport links, parking available, clean, well maintained. Comfy beds and plenty of room. Close to gardens so able to go there for break from all the attractions. Good breakfasts
Owners helpful and friendly.
Breakfast times restrictive 830 to 9am. Very poor bar
Great location in a quiet part of Blackpool with free parking. Easy 20 - 25minute walk into the centre of Blackpool. Room very spacious, beds comfortable and a great sea view. Hosts very welcoming and breakfast beautifully cooked with cereal, fruits, yoghurt etc. readily available.
Wi fi worked well downstairs but unreliable in room.
Every thing was perfect, an excellent hotel to stay at.
Nothing to dislike
good location very central
room was small for 3 people. bathroom very small, hardly any space at sink, had to squeeze in
Karen & Richard were the perfect hosts. Lovely clean rooms, nothing too much trouble & the breakfast was great. Would recommend to anyone.
Very friendly couple who run The Craigmore. Comfortable rooms. Excellent breakfasts with plenty of choice if you don't want a cooked breakfast. Catered for Vegetarians
If you're not able to get one of the front rooms with the lovely sea views then unfortunately not much of a view. Back of buildings and brick wall. This is really the only negative!
