not having fully checked details on booking details...was dissapointed on arrival to find could not get into room till 3pm
My room was very comfortable, the food was very good.
Staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were good value for the money paid. The location was good only a few minutes walk from the town centre and seafront. The breakfast was superb and served quickly and the food was hot and fair quality for the price. There is a bar, a games room and a tv lounge. I will certainly re book on my next trip to Skeggy
Our stay at Craigside Hotel was very pleasant. The owner was very friendly and the breakfast was lovely. The only Negative was the Matress was a bit Lumpy. :)
Friendly staff, excellent stocked bar, tea and coffee facilities in room, superb breakfast.
Perfect location for us as close to town. The couple who run it were very friendly and helpful. Beautiful breakfast and excellent value for money.
Breakfast was good, staff was friendly and helpful
A little dated
Staff fantastic ..Location great..Room was ok for the price...It is a get what you pay for place..
My room was ok, food very good, staff were ok.
Son's room not much room to move and the bathroom in my room very difficult to get into the shower.
very comfortable good location would stay again
Food was lovely, tea and coffee provided in room, price was good and close to all the attractions. Staff were friendly
Water pressure wasn't brilliant at peak times but just made sure we showered before everyone else. We were on the top floor with a baby but we were told at the beginning but needed a large room to ensure we had space for the travel cot. Will make sure we book early next time to get a room closer to the ground floor. Our bed was very creeky which made it a bit of a pain when you have a sleeping baby in the room.
The squeekey Floorboards lack of power points and the very small bathroom
Greeted on arrival and made to feel very welcome Spacious rooms Well stocked & Priced Bar Excellent Brekfast
Good location - only 5 minute walk from the pier. Good choice at breakfast with good service
The bed was extremely uncomfortable. I wouldn't have showered in the shower if you paid me! The room was quite grubby and in need of some attention. Unfortunately it rained heavily during the night and the rain water poured through the ceiling. When I complained to the owner the following morning she did not seem surprised or offered any refund. Won't be staying again.
Location, Parking, fruit, cereals, and yoghurt at breakfast. Friendly staff. Plenty of hot water, and hot drink ingredients.
No chairs in bedroom had to sit on bed, not enough clearance either side of bed to access on suite or to get to my side of bed. Had to keep moving bed to get by it. Hotel looking a bit tired. Mattress a bit hard. No instructions on WiFi password.
very small bedroom & bathroom
Being able to park at the hotel, the closeness of the town centre, being able to access the Wi Fi I our room.
Could not fault the hotel. If ever we are in the area in the future, we will certainly try to book the "Craigside" again.
the location the staff where very helpful great value for the price will be returning for another stay
there was nothing too dislike
good breakfast, comfortable bed
Was lovely and clean
Couldn't shut one of windows and was bit noisy
Made to feel very welcome .. And breakfast was beautiful very nice indeed
Location was good.Breakfast choice was also good.
Bed was very uncomfortable.Curtains instead of a door for bathrooms is unacceptable and unhygienic.Rooms were quiet small.
Staff friendly. Room small but ok and comfortable. Breakfast good.
Door to ensuite was awkward.
The breakfast was fantastic served by a charming lady.
We stayed in a family room on the top floor at the front of the hotel. we had no hot water in the shower throughout our stay. I complained, and was told my family must go down to the first floor and use the bathroom there. The hotel was full at the time and my wife and daughter ended up having to wash in the wash basin. No body came up to check our shower which had mould running along the bottom of the shower curtain. And to finish our stay off the room was red hot so I opened the window to let some fresh air in and all we got was cigarette smoke coming up from the guests puffing away below. Lovely.
