The hospitality, beautiful location, the breakfast which was excellent and the room

The creaky floor upstairs which is no good when there are insomniacs above you

We loved the staff they couldn't of been more welcoming. The food was lovely and the grounds we're just as good.

Everything seemed to be very pricy. The room wasn't very clean, it had spider webs on the light, it had hair in the toilet. And the bed was broken. We had room 6.

The excellent food and the helpfulness of the staff.

Traffic noise and noisy neighbours. A folder in the rooms with bus & train times would help.

Nice food, clean room and peaceful place with good sized car park. Friendly staff and well situated for the dales.

Accommodation was a bit small for a family room, but it was ok for a one-night stopover.

The location of the hotel is fantastic, staff most friendly and helpful. A good menu, the food very well presented, the hot food Hot, rather than warm. Comfortable room, clean and airy. All in all we had a lovely few days visiting the Yorkshire Dales, completed by our stay at The Craven Arms.

The bar and restaurant are excellent

Our room was facing onto a main road was noisy but this was to be expected. But the room itself was also extremely hot and stuffy. The shower door also opened onto the toilet and with a little thought with refitting this could be altered quite easily.

The restaurant is very good indeed, as is the service. The rooms are comfortable and value for money.

We weren't too happy with the fact that our room could be viewed very easily through the windows from the car park. perhaps, blinds or net curtains would be a simple cure.

Excellent breakfast and good evening meals. A lot of non-residents dined there, which is always an encouraging sign. Very comfortable spacious en-suite bedroom.

very charming but down to earth owner and obliging staff; very clean; we were made to feel at home and despite the negatives would definitly stay there again. Good value for money

The room was really too small but as it was for my daughter and I we managed perfectly. the food on the whole was good but slightly dissapointing...but they were very busy in the retuarant which might explain that. I wish them good luck and every success as they clearly deserve it

Breakfast is really good and there's plenty to choose from (also for vegetarians). The restaurant is excellent and some lovely vegetarian options are available. Produce is usually local and we can confirm that the beer from the local brewer - Ingleborough Gold - is very nice.

The three of us booked a family room expecting to get three proper beds. Instead we got a room with a double bed and a folding bed crammed in one corner. We did not expect this since most hotels do not allow a third adult to sleep on a folding bed. The descriptions were too vague for us to realize we had actually booked a room for two with an extra (quite uncomfortable) bed.

Easy to reach, great nature nearby, friendly staff, interesting looking restaurant menu

The (high) price of room #1 in relation to location in building, the space and comfort offered. At the charged GBP85 this compared very unfavorably with GBP60-70 for this type of room elsewhere incl. in popular Lake district!

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We had booked two rooms, one was a bit bigger and nicer than the other but both were excellent value for money. The breakfast included is delicious and the evening meal we had was also very high standard. Loved the surrounding scenery.

Just slightly noisy, you can faintly hear your neighbors but I am also quite particular about noise.

The staff, especially the owner, were so pleasant, helpful and polite. The inn was up to scratch and the scenery was breath taking. To top it all, we had an excellent evening meal: would recommend.
