Very good in all aspects
Open fires, fantastic evening meal, even better breakfast.
Busy, slow service as we had to 'fit in' with the busy restaurant bookings. Food was great though.
Service, friendliness of staff,
Good Parking, Large Rooms, Comfortable Bed, Great Food, Fantastic Staff, Free WiFi, Excellent Breakfast, Great Location.
Food , accomadation and the staff.
Quality, staff, cleanliness, stylish decor, outstanding breakfast
Standard double bed a tad small
food and staff great
noise from extractor fan from next door room especially in the middle of the night
Food was excellent and staff were really good. Service in the restaurant and at breakfast was first class.
Room was cold when we arrived but heating was on when we returned early evening.
Attention to detail in everything and a warm welcome
Although it is technically an inn, it is more like a restaurant with accommodation, rather than a pub with rooms. Great bedroom and breakfast (e.g. the full English came with hot not warm grilled tomatoes and fresh not tinned mushrooms), super warm room and tonnes of hot water. Generous food portions. Excellent VFM. Recommended and would definitely come back.
The bed's mattress was a little too soft for us. But the room was so warm and toasty, I forgive them!
We were met with a warm pleasant welcome and shown to our room, which was well equipped Nd spotless. Breakfast was fantastic, plenty to eat with fresh, first class produce used
The Lodge room was spacious and comfortable and all the staff were attentive and helpful
A clock in the room would have been helpful
room location service food
nothing all amazing
Clean stylish interior. Huge room with great view. Good breakfast.
Somehow my bathroom 'sink' didn't have hot water so I had to wash my face with ice cold water...I got plenty of hot water from the shower though...
This is a cracking little hotel. We stayed in "The Lodge" and couldn't have wished for a better room. There has been a great deal of thought in the design and facilities offered. Excellent in every way. What makes this hotel really special is the staff. From the moment we arrived until we left they were attentive, friendly and totally professional.
Wifi was a bit patchy in the Pub/Restaurant area but fine in the hotel room.
If you need accommodation in this area don't bother looking anywhere else, this was a great find. The staff couldn't do enough, the rooms were up to date, spotless and well furnished, breakfast was all you could want and if you are able to have dinner you should as it is first class. As I said, maybe I shouldn't say this because next time we want to stay it may be full, it certainly deserves to be. Well done everyone!
