The Creggans Inn  

Owners and staff very friendly, helpfull. breakfast,dinner very good, wide range of choice. Location on the side of loch excellent. Bedroom clean and tidy with a good view of loch. Thank you to Archie and Gill, staff for a wonderfull stay. Will certainly be back again.

Even though the inn was fully booked we had to have dinner in the public bar area when there was a lovely dining room. The meal was only fair. The TV in our room was not picking up a signal.

Staff were welcoming and friendly. Facilities and decor were absolutely right. Very homely and relaxed. Also had hassle free wifi which was nice. The food was really special with a great choice. We liked it so much we are going back in a few weeks.

This hotel has a magnificent location beside Loch Fyne. The rooms are nicely decorated- although a little flowery! The hotel is absolutely spotless, the staff were both friendly and highly efficient at their jobs. We chose to eat in the Dining Room rather than the bar and were treated to a very reasonably priced gourmet meal, overlooking beautifully kept gardens. In a building with a very difficult layout, wii was available all over the hotel.

I used to stay at The Creggans every year for the highland games during my childhood and decided to return after 19 years. I was not sure if it would be the same but in fact it was better. The location at the gateway to the spectacular west coast hills, near to Glasgow for access and situated right on the beautiful Loch side the Creggans is perfect. I have so many wonderful memories from my past here and now I have some new ones.The decor is clean and modern but with a craft and Scottish country house twist. The food is a modern take on traditional fare.. The cullen skink soup is still one of the best I have had and after all these years my morning kipper looking out over the loch was wonderful.

The restaurant decor needs a little more work to make it truly 'Creggan- y'. Some Scottish prints on the walls, or driftwood maybe and few breaks between tabls to divide the space a bit. Food is still great though..

Friendly -- nothing was too much trouble. Room and bathroom excellent. Love the lounge upstairs. Food is very good. Have stayed before and was not disappointed this time. I shall be back!

We wanted somewhere out of the way where the location could help you relax and The Creggans Inn provided that. The loch side views are superb and worth the additional premium. If all you want is countryside then this is ideal.

We didn't quite realise how far you have to travel to get anywhere, however on the positive note it's worth the mileage in the end. The restaurant menu is good however it is limited if your stay is longer than three nights.

Great place - I used it as a base for a couple of days' hillwalking. Great location, excellent food, good wine list, convivial bar, friendly staff. It is a very quiet location, but that didn't matter as I was knackered after walking each day.

The staff, food and service was great. We only stayed one night I, wish we had time to stay more.

The day was very hot and the room was hot without air conditioning. It cooled down nicely at night.

its beautiful location on Loch Fynne plus its close proximity to the wedding I was attending.

We could hear someone snoring downstairs, however, on checkout, we told our host who was most apologetic and explained the nature of the building. We were also surprised at what we got - roomwise - for the money we paid. This was a costly room (£120) but rather than an hotel, the room was more like a high end B&B - a very expensive B&B. I felt we were in a room Rapunzel once stayed in, also, we were paying for a 'garden room' which was, in actual fact, the road at the back of the house!

tout est bien. Tout est confortable. Il y a plein d'endroits différents pour se relaxer, jouer au dés, jouer du piano, salons, bars, Adresse incontournable près de benmore garden et face au magnifique loch Fyne qui aurait mieux inspiré Lamartine!

Aangenaam en sfeervol, typisch, ietwat ouderwets, Schots hotel in een schitterende streek. Ideaal gelegen voor natuuruitstappen of motoruitstappen. Erg rustig gelegen. Het pub-restaurant biedt prima maaltijden aan correcte prijs aan.

Belle situation malgré la route .Calme la nuit . Délicieuse cuisine au bar . Bonne ambiance .

Personnel et service tres sympa. La chambre etait spacieuse, avec une magnifique vue sur le Loch.

We had a very nice supior room staff were friendly , and helped us with our luggage , we ate in the bar /restuarant on the first night food was overcooked,but ok menu , secod night in dining room , but no atmosphere would stay here again if in the area super location
