Bridlington is a lovely seaside town with sandy beaches.
Bridlington is a lovely seaside town with sandy beaches. You can indulge in some fish and chip shops and an ice cream while taking in the sea air along the sea front. There are a good range of shops. There are a good selection of restaurants too, we had a meal at a Chinese restaurant called Yips, the food was excellent. There is a cafe/bar called Jeromes on the pavilion where you can enjoy a drink and take in the sea view either sitting inside on a windy day or outside when it's warmer.

Bridlington is a clean seaside town with a fair few shops and lots of pubs and restaurants. Our visit was in February so many shops were shut for the winter, but there was still a nice atmosphere. On the downside there does seem to be a lot of shops shut down or turned into bars.

Very friendly and efficient service always with a smile from Gifty and the lady who served breakfast whose name I didn't catch but nothing was too much trouble and customer care obviously matters to them. Breakfast was amazing, cooked to your own specifications, room was spotless and comfortable and quiet too. I was attending An Evening With Asa Elliott at the Bridlington Spa on the Saturday night, so the location of the hotel could not have been handier. I would not hesitate to use this hotel again, thank you so much!
I really enjoyed the whole experience of staying at The Mont Fort! Our room is very clean and comfortable. It has a nice view of a garden. Our hosts are very friendly and helpful. Jean knew every guest’s preference for food and prepared breakfast every morning. Tim takes care of the bar. It’s lovely to have a drink and a casual chat there. The location of the hotel is ideal. It’s only two minutes walk from the beach but very quiet. Definitely worth staying there when you have a holiday in Bridlington!
Absolutely fantastic stay from start to finish.
I cannot say in words how lovely the reception staff were, they went above and beyond making a difficult reason for staying (family funeral) a stress free few days.
I would recommend this hotel to everyone and would definitely stay again.

All staff were pleasant and polite.
We liked the location of the hotel to all Bridlington has to offer, everything within walking distance. The hosts were very friendly, sociable and welcoming, nothing was any trouble for them. Most importantly was the breakfast, it was fantastic, lots of choice and just what is needed to start your day off.
Even though the Royal Bridlington Hotel took payment from my bank account on Wednesday, when we turned up on Friday we were told that the hotel had over booked because the hotel had not seen the booking till Thursday evening, how can they say that if they took payment the day before!
Everywhere was very clean. Our room slept 3 and was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. The owner and staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The location was great, very close to the spa.
I would definitely recommend a stay at The Swallow Hotel.
The owner and staff were all lovely people, very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Food was lovely, although we only had breakfast. We were looked after by Jamie who served us in the bar in the evening. Lovely small hotel, would go again. Thank you all.
