This hotel is in an ideal situation in the Western Highlands. Good accommodation, good food and very helpful staff all make for a very pleasant stay. Rooms are very warm, which is most welcome in winter, and the drying room for wet boots and clothing is a real bonus.
The leaks in the reception conservatory - although to be fair, the rain was incessant in early December.
Staff friendly. Excellent breakfast choice.
Size of room to fit 5 people.
The hotel was excellent value for money and comfy and warm the room we had was great for our kids (11yrs) and the breakfast was very good the staff were very helpful,it is a lovely authentic Scottish hotel and I would highly recommend it.Nice local pub too with good meals.
It's a bit out of the way but then everywhere is in Scotland.
Setting, with mountain views/friendly staff/good food.
Too warm at night.
The staff were friendly and the room was very clean. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was plentiful.
We had a room which was on the corner of the building so it was noisy from the railway and 2 main roads which join there. We had no shower and the room was very small compared to our friends' room for which they had paid less money and booked 3 days after us! Connecting to Wifi was difficult.
Cleanliness of the room, pleasant staff especially in the restaurant, good food
Long check out following the over night murder mystery evening
Had lots of character
Room was too far from the rest of the hotel Single traveler. Room too large with 3 single bed Room was freezing even with heaters Could not access wifi from room Elevator not working Very strong smell of gaz throughout the hotel Staff not helpful Prices high for the level of quality
Friendly staff. Good food and good value. Great location.
Bed bugs. I know it can happen even in the most expensive hotels but the receptionist seemed unsurprised, though she did knock off £20 from the price. We pray we haven't brought the infestation home!
Exceptionally helpful staff. A member of staff was particularly helpful drying my clothes, which was very important to me walking the WHW. Also my room had a bath, that is a rarity in hotels along the WHW. Thank you all at the Crianlarich
Choice of food in the restaurant was good but lots of things on the menu were not available. However the restaurant manager did keep us informed of what was available.
We booked a table in the restaurant and when we arrived the receptionist hadn't booked we were placed out of the way at the end of the restaurant in the most uncomfortable seats, and we're just left there for 1/2 hour.
Reasonably comfortable, beds could be a little softer. Friendly staff. Quiet.
Not really a dislike - Couldn't get to sleep worrying over the Referendum result!
Bfast was good.
No wifI reach in room
The staff were very friendly. Hotel lovely inside.
Ensuite not the best. Felt a bit like a broom cupboard.
