very clean and comfortable hotel staff was quiet friendly on friday and satuday but the man on reception on sunday was much friendlier
a bit to far from town centre to steep hills in to town
The bed was too soft and boun
Room smelled funny
Staff were pleasant. Breakfast was acceptable, Room was clean and comfortable, Beds were comfy, we had a very enjoyable stay.
The bracket holding the shower curtain wasn't very secure and was nearly falling down. There wasn't a comfortable chair in the room only a hard dining style chair, two bucket chairs would have been ideal. With a lot of hotels and places like Premier Inn offering free WiFi I didn't like that The Croham Hotel charges for WiFi.
The location was ok
Room dirty, bed uncomfortable, no hot water.
the location is good
Room 314. The bed/mattress was rock hard, and the duvet wafer thin. The breakfast - not a lot of choice and finishes at 9am. Also, definitely not a continental breakfast. Room was freezing the first night - wall heaters in all rooms do not work.
where the hotel was easy reach of everything near the sea front the park and had a carpark
the breakfast not a lot of choice and you got what you were given for your full english 1 sausage 1 slice of bacon a fried egg and beans
The rooms were quite nice, bit more space would of been ideal, the bathroom was nice and cosy.
On arrival we were slammed with a £250 waiver damage charge which I was very annoyed as had spoken to the manager before arrival and he said he wouldn't charge us as we were all 30-65 year olds and weren't likely to damage anything!! He didn't greet us on arrival or even look at us!! Very bad reception!!
The room was smelly and in need of redecorating. The party next door was a young bunch of lads who played loud music and slammed the doors. The waitress had a lovely big food stain on her tshirt, same stain two mornings in a row!
The room had a horrible smell of greasy food/onions that we could not get rid of. We found a half eaten chicken breast behind the curtain. The staff were unhelpful - apparently not able to get us airfreshner and had run out of ice at the bar! Lots of stains in the room - chairs, walls and lamp shade. Do not stay here!
location- price- room was ok new carpet and paint flat screen tv. We would stay there again.
paying for the wifi £2.90 a day and £3.50 for car parking a day why don't they just add it to the room cost.
Good location, good value for money, 24hr reception, easy to find, late ish check out
Long process of checking in and out, card charged before hand even if telling them paying cash therefore annoying for young group of lads, £250 damage deposit has to be paid beforehand also which isn't mentioned on booking
the comfy bed
no curtains at window - and overlooked the busy road so needed to keep curtains closed unless you wanted people to see in. breakfast wasn't brilliant. paying for car parking???
I didn't like the managers attitude towards us when we wished to complain about the smell of weed coming from the vents and the late night music playing until 6am! When we said we wanted to complain It was unprofessional and sycastic and blunt. Hotel is rated more than it's worth, nothing for it's asking price.
Easy to get to town and nice and clean, stay open for you when get in late nice staff with a good little bar.
Temperature of room .. couldn't open windows due to noise outside :(
Very comfy bed, great value for money, helpful staff and great location
Only criticism is that the full English breakfast could include a few more items in it as I ordered it and it was well cooked and delicious but would have liked more variety
Was freezing no radiators air con broke and would not stop beeping all night so hardly slept, had two tea bags in a bowl in no packaging ect not happy at all with what i paid for
