The Croham Hotel  

the hotel was very close to the city centre which was great.

the bed was massively uncomfortable. and the tools were very noisy-we could hear everything happening in the hall and the nectar rooms. overall all it was ok but overpriced for the low quality

Comfy pillows

Room walls paper thin, you can here everyone else as they come in and settle into their rooms. You can listen to the lift go up and down as if it is part of your room. Beds are very cheap and you can feel the springs in the matteress. Breakfast was served as if they had something better to be doing and wanted you out ASAP.

Attractive reception area. Friendly staff. Room was good value for money. Good location.

Every thing was fine we would certainly stay at the Croham Hotel again.

The night porter and the guy in the reception in the mornings were brilliant as for the restaurant for breakfast in the morning that was a joke... 1 morning we had 2 couples and a group that sat down after us and they were all served first. And the guy on reception on the late shift was so rude we avoided talking or asking him anything as he didn't really care. Not a really bad stay but could have been so much better.

Breakfast was a bit disorganised, the coffee was never ready, they need to have longer serving times, we had to wait both mornings

Great welcome and location, room was very nice,and having aircon was a surprise for the money we paid. we did not try the breakfast so i can not say anything about it

Absence of hooks and shelves in shower area. Bathroom mirror too high for a smaller person.

There was nothing good about this hotel.

Breakfast very limited should be unlimited and be open buffet no menu available no fresh water for kettle in room limited car park plus didnt like the fact that car park fee was not included in total booking should be free. New mattress required for beds could feel the springs Topsheets are old Not very happy given key back every time you left hotel dont know if people are going into room when you leave hotel.

the staff were friendly , breakfast was lovely buffet of cereals and then you were asked if you wanted a full English which again was nice , you have a very small tv but it has free view so still good ,

you have to pay £3.50 a night to park at the hotel you have to pay extra for wi fi , when a lot of hotels around it have free wi fi , my bed was very uncomfortable the mattress was obviously very old as it had a big dip in the middle

That has got to be the worst hotel I've stayed in, it was a romantic break for me and my partner, and the room was the smallest for a double,the mattress well springs u cld feel everyone , I have a blowup camping one that's better, asked for a rm with a bath , only had shower in it , over looked a roundabout, said it was 500 mtres from sea where !! walls were the thinnest , could hear tv in both rooms , one tea bag , had to ask for more, could not get kettle under tap as too big, and tap moved when u tryed to turn on , pillow cases were to big and inside out, heaters were noisy and u had to have them on as bedding was to thin , not a experence I wld wish to repeat, and ruin my wknd . And to top it all u had to pay 3.50 for 24 hour parking in there car park for the privilege , that room was nothing like the pics !! .

The staff were excellent. The bed comfortable and the breakfast, although not amazing quality, was very good value for money

Small plastic beakers and tiny soap in bathroom. No bathroom mirror. Loo not cleaned behind seat (when seat down)

The bath plug was broken told them and didnt get fixed plus the springs were coming thro the bed then i was going to be charged for parking when i dont drive

Good location but that was the only positive thing we can say.

Unfortunately upon our arrival so did a group of 16 lads on a party weekend, we were disturbed by their noise & excessive drinking, unfortunately the staff were unable to move us to another room away from them so we had to book into another hotel and were not offered a refund, which we feel is very unfair and therefore would not recommend this hotel to any other travellers.
