The staff are lovely the room was lovely the bed was just the best also the best value for money
Nothing at all I could complain about
Room was clean and of a good size for 3 people.
Heating directly over the single bed, when we put it on some dirt came out onto my friends bed. Could do with being cleaned regularly to stop this happening.
The decor, cleanliness, good towels and felt safe as a female traveller. location close to places to eat , station etc. really good value for money
The bedding a little too lightweight for time of year( thin duvet ) pillows quite thin(ok for me but if my hubby had been with me he would not have liked ) Room a bit cold
Our room was beautifully decorated, and very clean. A little bit small with eves as was we were on the 3rd floor. A good location for shops and local amenities. 10 walk down to the sea front.
The lift was not working, so had to carry heavy luggage to the 3rd floor. No air conditioning avaiable, it was broken and it was a warm weekend. . Not happy that we had to pay for car park in low season.
Stayed in room 210. Got locked in all the time and was told by staff this is always happening. Fire Safety? Sent an email to ask why they are still using the room and receive a rude email back. Make sure your safety comes first. Please do not stay here.
Walking distance to good Italian Very reasonable prices
Both nights people were coming and going during the night. Walls and floors flimsy. Second night a group in room above partied from 0145 (on coming in) until 0520. Night porter unable to get their co-operation for quiet.
We were looking for a reasonably priced Hotel for a 1 night stay before flying from Bournemouth airport. It was clean comfortable & the staff courteous.
Nothing negative to say.
Nothing much to say
Everything . Given a basement room that smells of damp. Can't seat in the toilet because it's too close to the wall unless you're a midget
I have stayed at this hotel twice before and have always found it to be comfortable clean and good value. Staff were excellent, friendly polite and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Hotel is convenientlt located only a short walk from Bournemouth Town Centre and Beaches. would have no hesitation in staying there again.
Only issue i had was cost of parking however most of the hotels now charge for parking and at least the Croham wasn,t that expensive at £3.50 per day.
Was so good that we are staying again
Hotel was clean and bright
no staff who could make a management decision. Or solve our problem of all night party going on in room below us. no sleep obtained thus room not fit for purpose. charged for car parking although we didn't use the car park.
location and cleanliness
having to pay extra for car park at hotel short window for breakfast so hubby missed it..only 8-930am, not much choice either
The breakfast was quite acceptable and the bed was clean and comfortable.
The A4 paper notices stuck up on the walls in several places made it feel more like a boarding house than a hotel; There was no shower gel or shampoo in the bathrooms; The wardrobe doors were loose and there was no toilet roll holder; There was no hair drier in the room; The bar only took cash and not debit card; Small thing but in the room there were only 3 tea bags for 2 people so you could have only 1 cup of tea each;
Bathroom was not too bad although tiny.
Staff were very unfriendly and unhelpful. Nowhere to park. I arrived in the evening having been at a conference all day and all parking was taken up. Single room was tiny and cold. Not very clean.
staff and cleanliness
lack of disabled access
Lifts out of order....leaking ceiling above the beds Poorly maintained...missing roof tiles etc The staff's "oh well Madame" attitude
Location to the beach was good.
Lots of noises throughout the night, constant thuds from other rooms can be heard straight through the walls as well as the breakfast room below in the morning if on the 1st floor and the radio from reception. The bed was horrible, felt broken as it constantly creaked loudly when getting on or off. Windows left open on arrival allowing loads of flies to get in. Only 1 friendly receptionist who was very professional. Breakfast far too early and short for me :)
The receptionist did his best to be helpful
Lift not working Wifi not working in our room Atmosphere just not good
Very uncomfortable beds. needs completely updating. cleanliness poor.
The breakfast staff were pleasant
Surly reception staff. You have to pay for parking, £3.50 per day, internet access, £2.90 per day. It is cheaper to book the room direct. The way the beds are made up it is hard to keep the top of your body warm.
Room decor Breakfast, adequate Tea, coffee in room Daytime staff very pleasant Cleanliness Towels presentation Bed comfy Fruit with breakfast
Car park, couldn't park both nights and was still charged £7. English breakfast, no options such as way to cook egg, or mushrooms.
Comfortable bed, clean room, happy helpful staff
Bathroom was a little small Hotel charge to park your car
Comfortable room, good breakfast.
Too many off putting notices in room and charge for parking.
location, helpful reception staff, comfy bed
room was on the small side, but had everything we needed including air con
