Very friendly and welcoming, clean warm and tidy good food,
Wifi signal in public areas only very weak. We're informed by reception no phone signal in village,
Quiet roads, country walks. Pleasant staff in hotel.
Not enough information in hotel room. eg. No telephone number if doctor was required in night, no times for breakfast,no local information. Should be a holder for toilet roll
Lack of choices at breakfast and evening meal Staff not very attentive and apparent lack of interest. Had to ask for toast one morning and for coffee to be refilled the next.
lovely suite with comfy bed, great shower.
The village and the location to get round the rest of the Cotswolds. The room was most unusual and the first time we have had a room on 2 levels
WiFi only available in the lounge and reception needs extending to the whole hotel
Polite staff. Lovely breakfast. Comfy bed.
Cld, radiator not working.Coffee splashes on wall. Marks on carpet. Wi fi wouldnt work.No phone signal
Friendly staff, comfortable, clean and good food. Will be back.
Only one thing, the bed was actually comfortable
Booked double room. Was in Courtyard in a very small room across from hotel. Shower did not work At All! Not what we paid for
Nice and remote
Wi-Fi only available in the lounge
Beautiful old building set in lovely little village
Nice room. Friendly staff.
The shower didn't work was such an inconvenience. The price of drinks a bit steep. The car park is tight and up a steep slope.
EASY FOR TOURING OTHER COTSWOLDS AREA'S
Hungarian bar tender Alida worked tirelessly and with good humour and kept the ship on course!
very odd dinner set up in the main dining room. No music, awkward atmosphere, definitely needs to be improved
Breakfast very good. Staff friendly and polite. Room had everything you need and was clean and warm. Nice location in a lovely little village.
Dated decor. Bar not very welcoming or cozy, could do with being freshened up (maybe some candles/flowers on the tables, lick of paint, better lighting.) Menu in the bar and resturant was very uninspiring, we decided to go somewhere else. Wifi available in lounge only.
Old fashioned Cotswold Inn
Not easy to find Food ends at 8.30
Room was comfortable with the normal facilities. If you are used to a Bed that is 5 foot wide you may have to ask.
Staff dont make an effort to be helpful or friendly.Breakfast not of high quality with quite a basic Buffet on offer and an unexciting Cooked Breakfast.Rooms spacious but thin on comfort.
Good rates, in a picturesque setting. Had almost everything I wanted out of a hotel, and the evening meal was lovely.
Bar opened rather late and had a limited selection.
Room was OK and bed very comfortable
Very limited menu and chips with everything. Uncomfortable furniture in bar/dining area.
I often travel alone. Was made to feel very welcome. Staff were friendly , village was lovely.
Bedroom was a bit cold.
good food, excellent accommodation and very friendly staff, a pleasure to stay and would definitely go back
Greeted by man on reception who thought it was funny to say he didn't have a room in our name! Tired old décor. Tiny room with old furniture, two chairs which looked like they came from a hospital and a cracked bathroom sink. Generally not nice.
We had room 1, a lovely large room with a vaulted ceiling and beams, comprising the whole top floor of a converted outbuilding, with a view over the village. It was spacious, with a decent sofa for watching TV, and the fabrics were colour co-ordinated and immaculate. Tony on reception was extremely helpful getting a plumber out to sort out the lack of hot water to our basin and lack of heat from the bathroom radiator. We would stay again if in the area.
Carpet and bathroom fittings were old and a bit shabby, but it all functioned and the room was good value. Access to car park is steep and narrow.
staff were very friendly and helpful
no signal for phone and no alternative to chips on bar menu
