We arrived early as we had to change for a function and staff prepared the room quickly, arranged a taxi and even provided a sandwich lunch in our room. Excellent service. The full English breakfast was good too.

Really friendly owner and staff. Large comfortable rooms. Food really good.

Cooked breakfast from 8 only. would have liked 7:30. It would have made my business trip be less of a rush.

    1. Friendliness of proprietors 2.Size and facilities of en-suite room 3. Room servicing 3. Absence of rigid rules

Very little to dislike. General impression on arrival is not encouraging because car park area and public bar could be improved. This however is quickly overtaken by the personal welcome.
