great room, really comfortable bed, easy to use shower.very clean and i quite liked the breakfast format.lovely old pub!
a bit pricey for a single, but i knew that when i booked.would like to go back!
Friendly staff, great location for exploring the local area, clean room, nice addition of fresh milk and orange juice in the room.
Funny smell in the corridor leading to the room, breakfast wasn't that great and you had to pay extra for it.
Really quaint, comfortable room and bed. Food good.
We booked this room for a friends wedding, and it was located in the perfect spot for us. Its just a shame we were not able to stay at the pub longer. We will definitely be returning!
dog friendly, staff, food, location
The food; the friendliness of all the staff and particularly the owners. If you choose an ancient property you should expect querky shapes and design in your room - it's very old. The shower was hot, the bed comfy and the TV had the channels you might expect.
A very warm, cozy, traditional inn. Great staff. Very quiet location, in a small village right across the road from the church- but the car is advised.
friendly staff, excellent meal ,local ales and nice room
very casual accomodation, which suited us fine.
The building, the staff, location, ambience, food, friendliness, nothing too much trouble. Simply delightful and would definitely re-book if in this beautiful part of the world again.
I didn't dislike anything, but a little sympathetic upgrading to the room could be beneficial?
We had a wonderful time, they have thought of everything...hot water bottle in the bedroom, fridge with large jug of fresh milk and orange.Tea tray packed with goodies, lots of books and games to indulge in and great hosts. Pub quiz once a month with a chance to join in if you fancied...Fab little find xx
food in the restaurant was lovely
No negatives, very happy
Pub atmosphere and evening meal excellent. Staff really friendly.
Bed a little sinky.
I liked the quirky room. The fires in the pub the evening with a game of cards
Very friendly and helpful.
Blanche, Alex, Libby and Misty made us very welcome. Food excellent and liked being able to have continental breakfast in room or cooked in restaurant. Dog friendly. Will definitely return.
Very friendly staff, lovely location, traditional pub, good food and excellent beers. Very relaxed atmosphere. We had a great stay and plan to go back.
Nothing really. the room could have done with an update but it is an old 16th century inn so it was quite acceptable and good value.
Very helpful and friendly staff Excellent food
shower room a but tired and sightly dirty
