There was no housekeeping so tea and c offee were not topped up,sink and toilet were not cleaned we made our own beds and bar closed at 8pm on new years eve.so found a better pub and spent our money in there. Was orange ju ice full english toast and we had to ask for side plates.not good value for £231 per room
Nice and hot breakfast
Room cold on arrival. had to ask for another heater. Single glazed so room was very noisy with the passing traffic.
Friendly, helpful staff. Good breakfast. Decent size room.
Noisy small bore plumbing. Cobwebs.
Ease of Parking. Very pleasant staff Very good food and service
Extremely cold Bathroom
Friendly Staff and good food.
Noise outside the bedroom window during the evening into the early hours, it sounded like a taxi rank was directly outside with revellers waiting for taxi's in a very noisy way.
Friendly staff, good food, cosy rooms that had been recently updated. All in all a great night.
Staff were nice and very friendly and helpful. Food was lovely, breakfast was superb. Bed was comfortable and had a nice hot shower.
Bathroom was big and had a cold feel to it.
Staff Food in pub restaurant Space in room and bathroom Nice Breakfast
Stairs up to room - all accommodation up steep stairs Noise from street - it was Friday night Noise from Pub below - jukebox
Very helpful member of staff in the bar/restaurant
My main complaint is in relation to the breakfast. My husband and I were doing a cycle trip the length of the Uk, often with very long days over 100 miles long. We specifically chose this hotel over others in the area as breakfast was included. We wanted to have a good breakfast before setting off for the day. When we arrived at the hotel we were told that breakfast only starts at 8am and there were already too many people for the 8am sitting so they couldnt accommodate us until 8.30am. This was way too late for us. The staff member offered us a 'take-away' breakfast instead, which we were very happy to accept. We were told that it would be delivered to our door the next morning. We were surprised to see then that the 'breakfast' was outside our door before 11pm that evening. It was not like any breakfast I ever had before but was in fact like a child's packed lunch, with soggy sandwiches, a fruit drink, bars and crisps. Not exactly 'fuel' food! The thing we were most annoyed about was that we felt that we had been misled and that the 'breakfast' was left at a time when we would not get a chance to query this or complain.
Very noisy location - heavy traffic noise all night
I booked this hotel for my elderly parents and they said it was very noisy and they couldn't sleep very well, the beds were very uncomfortable, not value for money at all and very disappointed. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.
Good welcome, pleasant room with plenty of space. Our room was a superior one and unfortunately at the front on the main road which was very noisy. Good breakfast.
Limited parking on road. Stairs to room a bit off-putting as old and tired.
Food was excellent, extensive menu. Well cooked.
Bedrooms were on the main road, buses running until midnight and drunks going past noisily at 1am. Need to ask for cellar air- conditioning to be turned off so could sleep.
Bed and an ok evening meal. Young lad working the bar was very pleasant and helpful. I had a parcel to be returned to my home address, he was happy to collect and post for me. And the gypsy soup, best dish on the menu.
I arrived by bike (hotel advised on time of booking), they were very reluctant to let me keep it in my room over night. But after some explaining my very early start and being stranded with out it, they relented. More geared up to workers and sales personnel, than people visiting the area.
The breakfast choice was really poor. The only option was a fried breakfast- no cereal or other alternatives. For £128 per night one would expect more.
If you want to be in the small town of Lockerbie you don't get better than this.
Expensive for a room without en-suite and very noisy at night from the loud bar music.
Staff were helpful
Hotel frontage in need of refurbishment, rooms were OK. Very limited breakfast choice.
Very nice barlady. Very nice cook at breakfast.
Very much a pub. Youngsters drinking bottles of stella through a straw.
poor facilities- £47 with no on-suite hard bed dingy, small, strangely shaped room with poor décor- really needs re-decorated cob webs on lights frayed carpet in areas saggy floor boards dingy shared toilet/shower the website did not say it was not on-suite. very overpriced I wont stay there again
Staff were friendly and breakfast was lovely
Room was cold on arrival, toilet was very noisy
Nice hotel in a good location. Staff were very friendly and welcoming.
Located near the Train Station, Very friendly and helpful staff. rooms were clean and all amenities were more than adequate. I would defiantly stay again!
beds were a little uncomfortable, but not really bad just a memory foam mattress would have been nice :)
Lovely surroundings. Nice that I could check out at 12 on Sunday morning.
Thermostat not working. Shower didn't stay at a constant temperature... Bearable heat then went very cold then very hot.
